Las Margaritas Of Covington — Restaurant in Covington

Been here twice. Both times I ordered the Enchiladas with flour tortillas (due to health restrictions) and both times they got it wrong and made it with corn. The first time it happened, the waitress came out and explained that the cook wanted me to know that if they use Flower Tortillas instead of Corn tortillas, it is known as a "Burrito" not an Enchilada. I mean, really? Its freaking Covington, TN. Its not some 5 star food ppace in a 5 star city, and this place cannot aford to be snobby. 😕

A Burrito is tucked and folded, and an Enchilada is NOT. Therefore, an Enchilada can either be made from Flower or Corn Tortillas. Just as a Burito can be done the same way. What the customer wants is what the customer should be getting, not what some snobby cook says. After all, the customer is paying for quality food from quality service. Margaritas falls drastically short on at least one of those.

Either way, I did not leave a tip on either visit due to the service i recieved, and i will DEFFINETLY be taking my business to one of the other Mexican resturants here in Covington.

Be careful when you eat at this restaurant when it comes to what they bill you. This restaurant had an employee who couldn't speak English well so he relied on his Manger to help assist him. When we asked the waiter a question he looked at his manager then he would respond. We explained exactly what we wanted, but he brought out the wrong thing. We asked for the regular two for one. We knew the drink was in a different glass when we received it. The restaurant will do this sometimes so we didn't question it. Once the bill came out we was charged for a drink double the cost of what we normally pay. We asked to speak to the manager and he refused to adjust our bill. Then we found out after speaking with a different waiter that he left off part of the drink we were charged for. The manager offered to bring the part that was missing after we had finished the drink. I will definitely be careful when I decide to eat...

Ordered the anaconda burrito for the family and it was worth it. More bang for the buck than you can imagine. Also got the buri tacos and those are great. Like a pot roast in a taco kinda ? California burrito is amazingly good also.. packed with steak, chicken, an shrimp.. appetizers of all sorts. Menu is very big so anyone should be able to find what they're wanting or looking for.. there are pictures on the menu as well to help see what your reading. Kids Menu also. Big margaritas selection .. desert churro are fire. Service was great had several waiters and they're all great but the bar tender lady she's really good if you sit in the bar area. She keeps up with you. Very laid back atmosphere not somewhere bad for an anxiety stricken person lol. 🙃 would highly reccomend prices are very good also. This is our forever spot now !!
