The Local — Restaurant in Craig

We went in for lunch and placed our order. We were NOT informed it would be a 1 1/2 hr wait when we ordered. Understanding that main street had a car show going on and it might take a little longer then usual. After 30 mins of waiting we went and asked about our food. The 2 guys in the kitchen were completely rude from the get go. They acted like we were a problem because we couldnt wait another hour for our food and wanted a refund. During the refund process, The 2 cooks in the kitchen kept making smart mouth comments while looking away, and I responded to there comments. I told the older guy, I wasnt trying to argue with him and I just wanted a refund. He then proceeded to tell me to just shut up, which there was not a chance of that. I got a refund but RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. NO WAY SHOULD THIS PLACE BE OPEN. Judging by the other bad reviews I see this is a reoccurring...

Great, expensive food! Different food from other restaurants! Pretty fast as well! The brewery is here, so you have many types of beer options! Not many other drink options other than that... The atmosphere is awesome with and upstairs balcony and dining area outside right next to a park downtown. Well maintained building and restrooms.

This is edited on 4.25.24 *Holy cow, I had to edit my review, VERY unfortunately tonight "The Local" was not good at all. The experience, and the food. These two fellows were the worst people to deal with as customer service. They were busy, but come on, respect your customers, let them know, use your words, respect them. Fries were the worst we've had so far. But my biggest say is know how to handle the pressure and don't disregard customers because you are stressed. I tried to put my mindset in theirs, but I would definitely not show the attitude...
