Pizza Joe's — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

I’ve been ordering from Pizza Joe’s for over 15 years, but after my recent experience, I’ll never go back.

When I called to place an order for a sub, I simply asked if they still made their sandwiches the same way. The woman on the phone confirmed that they did. So I proceeded with the delivery order.

But when my food was delivered, the man who brought it immediately asked, “Is there a reason why you’re questioning the way we make our subs?” I was completely shocked. He was rude, confrontational, and incredibly unprofessional. Then he said, “If you don’t like the way we make our subs then go order somewhere else, lady.” I was stunned and embarrassed.

I called the store to report the behavior and ask who the delivery driver was, only to find out it was the owner himself — Stephen. When I asked for his name, he told me it was him and then hung up on me. I tried to call back multiple times (15, to be exact), and every time he picked up and hung up immediately.

After being a loyal customer for 15 years, I was treated with complete disrespect. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, especially coming from the owner of the business.

Go here for the best sandwich ever! I only ordered it because I needed something quick and it's what my husband picked for himself. Otherwise, I'd probably not pick a hoagie and I definitely wouldn't pick ham and cheese. I'm more likely to pick the Italian or meatball. BUT... Ok, hear me out... it's called the "Ham and cheese hoagie" and it's absolutely delicious. Toasted, melty cheese, something about the way the thin layer of mayo mixes with the tomato makes for the perfect combinations of ingredients. THIS IS NOT YOUR MOMS HAM AND CHEESE! Get it during their weekday lunch special and you can't beat it. So good I might get it tomorrow.

Since this is a pizza shop, I'll review the pizza while I'm at it, too. The pizza is good. Nothing special and not the best, but it's edible, convenient, and the service is pleasant and quick. I enjoy the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza on the big joe...

This Pizza Joe's is located on the ground floor of a newer development. It does not offer indoor seating. However, they have a nice outdoor patio area with umbrella tables for outdoor dining. Our order, two 12 cut square pepperoni and cheese pizzas, one 12 cut square veggie pizza, a 4 cut cheese personal pizza, and an order of dipping sticks, was hot, fresh, and tasty! When we ordered over the phone, they said the order would be ready for pick-up in 20 minutes... And it was. The staff was very friendly and prompt. They received several phone calls while we were there. Each one was handled quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. Their slogan, "Everyone goes to Pizza Joe's", fits them since it is such a friendly pizza place! Please like this review if you found it...
