I will start by saying the flavor of the pizza and sauce is pretty good. The first few times I came i was satisfied.. however the last 2 times I was completely disappointed.. Fair warning..do not get the slices in the evening..they literally have been sitting on the warming plate ALLLLL day.. I literally could not even bite into the slice of pizza..I'm not just talking dry I mean the bottom was hard like a rock...I called back..and told them..the older lady..guessing the aunty per other reviews.. was kinda rude on the phone..she told me I need to bring the slices back and she'll replace them..first of all I am not exchanging it for more dry slices...second of all all she had to do was walk over and view how dry those slices were....the last time I went there I ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza..and got home the bottom was literally black and hard... another time they wouldn't let me order a fresh pizza bc it was 6 05p and they closed at 7..if you're going to sell slices, you needa check on the quality throughout the day and replace them. ..put less out. ... or turn the temp down on the warming plate or lightly cook it ...i think the warming plate drys it out... I have had a better experience at the other location...I usually prefer mom and pop places...but Idk about this spot anymore.i don't live close by..I should not have to go back out of my way to return slices of pizza or show them so I can get a refund..and go through the headache of finding something...
Read moreThe food is good in a pinch. Grew up on their strip pizza and their cannolis are my favorite around. Do yourself a favor though, customer service is really important, it can make or break your whole day. The behavior by these people, minus the owner, was the wildest thing I've ever experienced.
However, unless you want to get your head screamed off by the aunt and niece when they only give you part of an order, I don't recommend coming here. I placed a large order for assorted pastries--they gave me 1/3 of the order, and when I had to go all the way back and wanted to count the rest, I was screamed at for 10 minutes straight. The niece even suggested 'taking this outside' threatening me. For trying to count my order, that was already wrong to begin with. They then told me that it was my colleague's fault for not being given the right amount in the first place? They called the owner, who then spoke to me on the phone. He was extremely apologetic, saying that their behavior was unacceptable. I tried to tell him as well that the pastries were also all smooshed and looked awful too, but there wasn't anything to be done and I wasn't going to stay in there any minute longer than necessary.
Lunch might be fine, but I don't recommend ordering anything larger or for a nice event, it won't look right. And if you don't want to be screamed at or blamed for messing up your own order, then probably skip as well. There are much more professional...
Read moreEven with rude customer service, when fresh, their pizza slices and desserts are yummy, spinach pies not so much...that ends the positive review!!! The customer service by the older staff, especially the gray-haired woman, is just downright rude and unpleasant! While on my lunch, I walked in the bakery in the middle of finishing up a call and was told by I believe the owner, to take that call outside and come back in when you're done! I wasn't even in line yet! I don't know how my being on the phone asking for a slice of pizza stops you from doing your job??? Most people have to multitask on their 30 min lunch break, so I walked out and went to De Petrillo's Bakery in Warwick instead! They have excellent pizza and spinach pies! The service has been unpleasant multiple times. Several people mentioned the terrible customer service by the older staff. I don't go there anymore, and that's a shame because they do...
