Senjoy — Restaurant in Warwick

Had the Tonkotsu Ramen, eel buns, crab rangoons, and a bubble tea. Everything tasted phenomenally until I got to the egg in my ramen.

The first bite was okay enough. Not the best egg I've ever had, but also not the worst, or so I thought. With the second bite, it tasted wrong and I started to feel nauseous.

An hour after eating, I started getting the worst bloating I've ever had in my life, followed by gas cramps, and sulfuric egg burps that lingered. I felt like I had just gone through all 9 circles of Dante's Inferno, only for me to reach the center of hell where I was forced to meet Satan and be plagued with copious amounts of diarrhea that lasted 3 days.

My partner, who had the senjoy ramen, had stomach cramping and diarrhea for 2 days.

I just discovered the Warwick Senjoy, and I am very happy with the food and service. I had the Ramen and some fried chicken delivered via Doordash. The Ramen was amazing, and delivered in two containers for freshness (pro tip, heat the broth at home to simmer for a hotter bowl of soup) The Ramen was delicious, and the fried chicken a very good! Better than KFC for sure. It all arrived in about half the time estimated. I am very happy to have this new option near me.

Edit: Shortly after "discovering" Senjoy, I became housebound due to illness. Senjoy became my go to for fresh delicious food delivered to my door. I've had three kinds of ramen, gyoza, and the fried chicken sandwiches. For the same price as fast food you get one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches around. Food has been 100%...

Uber excited that this place opened about 8 minutes from where I live. Honestly, while I like the extensive menu that features ramen, steamed buns, teriyaki combos, crispy fried chicken, takoyaki, and unique beverages (cheese foam drink, anyone?), I do find the prices a bit high for this neighborhood.

As a preamble to ramen, we ordered the fried calamari. It was so-so. Let's talk ramen--went for the beef ramen while my husband opted for his favorite miso ramen. Plus: presentation of the dish. The beef broth was disappointingly bland.
