Sadly, I will no longer go to this restaurant on principle. The management has always in my estimation been somewhat stingy when asked for anything extra or above and beyond...but this time was really too much. When the end of the meal and we were asked what weād like to take home, I asked for the cardboard boxes that are used for their āto goā orders rather than the styrofoam boxes. I was told that they were only used for take out orders at which point I stated that we were taking the remainder of our food out. The waiter asked one of the owners about using the cardboard boxes and she said that they would need to charge for them and proceeded to walk away. A few moments later a young lady came to the table with the two sizes of boxes and explained that the smaller boxes were $1.50 and that the larger one was $2.50. So I said thank you and she walked away. The waiter returned with styrofoam boxes and I told him we wouldnāt be taking anything with us. To add insult to injury, we waited nearly 15 minutes to get my credit card back because they had made a $0.50 error in my favor and had to credit the first transaction to go back and charge the extra $0.50. If your margins are that tight, you have bigger issues running your business. So maybe Iām just being stubborn, but I donāt appreciate being nickeled and dimed because youāre cheap. Youāve lost a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered Beef with Broccoli Thursday evening. As I was eating, I began to chew on something rubbery! When I removed it from my mouth and examined it closely, it was a chewed piece of gum! I felt so sick! I donāt chew gum due to dental issues, however I certainly know a piece of chewed gum when I see it. I immediately threw my entire dinner away without taking a photo of it, I just wanted it gone. The next day I went into China Dynasty ONLY to inform them of what happened in their kitchen. I wasnāt asking for a refund or a free dinner, I felt the kitchen staff needed a reprimand or a discussion. I was not believed. I was told the kitchen staff does not chew gum! My question was, what purpose did I have in lying? I wasnāt asking for one thing! I clearly wanted the kitchen staff to be put on notice. She kept denying it happened, practically calling me a liar. My point in writing this is, during these COVID times, DO NOT EAT there! Iām sick thinking I chewed on someone elseās gum! I was made to feel like a liar, wasnāt thanked for coming forward either. Imagine if I had asked for a $14 reimbursement! STAY AWAY FROM CHINA...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would say this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered crab Rangoon, two orders of chicken fingers, small white rice, and a general tso. The total came to $50. The chicken fingers and the crab Rangoon tasted stale, like they had been left out and just refried for our order. It all look unappetizing and general tso chicken was tough, cut up into very small pieces, and the sauces were disgusting. The small white rice was an absolute joke, the tiniest box i have ever seen. Will never get again and do not recommend.
We also called back and asked if we could just have our money back. The man who answered the phone (and previously took our order) was extremely rude and told me the food was fine. I told him it was inedible, stale, chewy, rubbery generals chicken. And he argued with me for 10 mins. I told him I wanted my money back and he said āthen bring the food back and Iāll see how much you ateā. Needless to say, they will never get my business again and weāll be sure to warn others of...
