I was told by the delivery guy do not touch the range after they put in the house. It should take several hours for the range to reach room temperature. After 3 hours, I found out the glass top is not level, one corner or side is up and down loose, one side is OK. I called the sales right next day for replacement. Guess what!!!!!!!! Wickford Appliance will not replace the defected item, because Wickford Appliance will loose money!!!! Told me to get on warranty plan..... That is the service I am getting. Too bad. I thought I was supporting the local business. Buy from Wickford Appliance instead of Home Depot, etc..

Before this purchase ( means before I handed my credit card to them), I had asked what kind of the after sale service whickford Appliance provides compare to Home Depot or Lowes. I was told it is compatible....... Do not be fooled like me...... The cook top's problem is still there. The oven makes loud noise like alarm.....

I explained that I was in the market for a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. I let him know that I needed a quick delivery on the refrigerator. He showed me and expertly explained models of all three appliances at different price points. This made selection easy for me. I opted for appliances from the same manufacturer. I was uncertain about the measurements required for my dishwasher. He said all I needed to do was check for accuracy when I went home and then he provided me with a direct line to him to confirm those measurements. I did that and left a message for him with corrections. He called back within ten minutes after having found a model by the same manufacturer with the revised measurements. I agreed and within twenty minutes was emailed the revised order for my records. Matthews' professionalism, kindness, and good cheer made my day. EDIT: I forgot to update this regarding delivery/installation! The first technician who came to install the dishwasher said he couldn't do it because we needed an extended hose, so he put the new dishwasher in my garage and left. It was a bummer, but what can you do? Within a couple of hours I got a call to reschedule the installation. I forget the specifics now, but I think we only had to wait 2 or 3 more days — which if you've ever tried to schedule installation for something before you'll know that's insanely fast. It was obvious they gave priority to resolving the problem. They told me they were going to send one of their best installers, and based on how quickly he got us squared away I'm confident they did. The best part is he didn't even need that extended hose!
It's easy to give a company 5 stars when everything goes right. Wickford Appliance deserves 5 stars because they took responsibility when something went wrong—and MADE it right. When it comes to buying a new appliance, I would never want anything less. I'm super happy, and won't be shopping for appliances...
