Kochi Sushi & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Cranston

Extremely disappointed. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm still mad I paid $37.00 for such low quality food. The guy at the desk was however very nice, when I went to pick it up. The packaging is even cheap, tiny styrofoam containers for the wonton soup which consisted of two dumplings and half cut pea pods with a sprinkling of chives and over salted broth. My boyfriend had "mushroom" soup which consisted of 4 very thinly sliced mushroom pieces and broth.... Nothing else, it wasn't even one whole mushroom in the soup! The sushi was mediocre at best and not very fresh, the noodles were a disaster and had an unpleasant odor. I wish I could get my money back and spend it on something that tastes better! Would...

So I am typing this as I am finishing up in the ER. Last night we ordered takeout around 630. As I was eating this I noticed something was very very off. The taste, the smell, the temperature. The sushi was warm. I ate the 3 rolls around 7:15. 830-845 I proceeded to get in bed. From this point forward it was ON. I must have thrown up 12 times, and had thee worst stomach ache in the world. Finally at 3:30 I couldn’t take it anymore and came to the hospital. It was determined I have a bad stomach infection from the sushi. Very nicely appointed. Tastefully roomy booths and tables, a dedicated open sushi chef station and a decent bar little bar from which one may watch Jeopardy or even sports. Very interesting and yummy maki. Lovely sashimi. Disappointing Chinese Style entrees, then again I don't normally find them too appetizing on a normal day. Very good Scorpion Bowl. We sat at the bar and I'm looking forward to a return visit to test the bartender, who looks like she has mad skills, and of course the Sashimi. Try the tuna dumpling appetizers and don't leave without trying the Duck...
