Food was so good, it deserves a photoshoot!✨ #vibess #selflove #CapCut #foryou #foryourpagess

This is a nice little restaurant. It looks dated and could certainly use an upgrade but, the food makes up for it. The food is really. I ordered the Guacamole and Chips to start and it had really good flavor. I ordered 2 Carne asada and 1 chorizo taco, Mexican style, they were really good. The salsa picante (hot sauce) tastes homemade and was also really good. They have have a good size menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They seem to close a little earlier than other places, so make sure you check the times. Cresent City doesn't have many choices for restaurants, this one is good and reasonably priced.

I stopped at Palmeras today. Evidently they have three storefronts in a row. The first is Pasteleria, Panderia, which has baked items and ice cream. The next one is a store. The last one is a restaurant. I walked in each one and none of the people working there would acknowledge me. My advice to you is Don’t Waste Your Time. Spend your money somewhere else!

It was difficult to communicate with the server. I had several questions regarding the menu, and the sever just looked at me like I was crazy, smiled, or told me, "No," or "Yes." We had come in and sat down, and not even 2-3 minutes she asked for our order, and was visibly unhappy we didn't know yet what we wanted. We originally were the only family in there, one more part came in after us. We were a table of 6, the other had maybe 8-10 people. She kept coming every 2-3 minutes to get our order, it was annoying. As far as the food was concerned, 4/10 it was okay, Taco Bell is better, quicker, and friendlier. I ordered fajitas, what I received was a plate with some dried out rice, and mystery chicken and nothing to put it on (tortillas) and no cheese, or sour cream or anything to put on it. These were part of the questions I asked earlier, if it come with that stuff, she had originally said, yes. She proceeded to argue with me, replying only, "NO." to my requests. I handed her my plate and said I could not eat this food as prepared..Magically she was helpful and brought what I needed. At the end of the meal I was charged extra for these items. No one was thrilled with their dinner, it was mediocre at best, no queso, the watery salsa was actually just a bowl or very hot, hot sauce, the air conditioner was not working, and the whole restaurant was filthy, especially the bathroom. My 2 stars is a generous rating, we won't be returning...

Menu prices are outdated. They raised their prices 25%, just figured it out for myself. So they're just another business that thinks it's OK when it's time to pay the bill, that the meal now costs more than expected. It's not ok, it's DISHONEST. Then when paying bill, she was upset when I didn't leave a tip. I told her that NO TIP was the price she had to pay for her dishonesty.

I refuse to return to any DISHONEST business' like this. SHOPPERS BEWARE, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE, RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC.

Plus the smell was so bad when I entered, I almost left on the spot. Maybe I should have, but I was having my car worked on and no other restaurants closeby to walk to.

The knife they gave me to use was still dirty. I cleaned the fork myself with hand sanitizer. I hope I don't...

We arrived 30 mins past closing (not realizing it) and the owner graciously invited us to come in and eat anyway. He and his wife cooked and served us the most authentic and delicious meals. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming and even made us fresh tortillas to go with our meals. He told us that all of the food is cooked fresh daily and all leftovers are discarded, and ours was excellent. We got Fajitas Texanas, quesadillas and tacos, and all were amazing. Everything is very spicy, so if you are not used to that, make sure to tell them you want mild. We will be back, great people and amazing,...
