Crescent Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Crescent

We like to try different places and decided to give this a try tonight because I saw online tonight’s special was tacos. We walked in at 6:00 pm and the bar was busy, we went to the back dining room the waitress came and took our drink order came back and asked what we wanted. We wanted tacos of course because it was the special. She proceeded to tell us she was just informed there were no taco shells so she couldn’t offer the tacos....keep in mind it was only 6:00 and not one person at the bar was eating and we were the only ones in the dining area. Needless to say we ended leaving without ordering. If they don’t even offer the special I can only imagine what the rest of the food menu was like. The only good thing I can say is our server...

Stopped at a new place for supper tonight with a friend. Drove to Cresent, Iowa to a place that reminds one like that t.v. show Cheers to a certain degree. 😊 As a hometown bar & grill that services great food and has great service too.

We both enjoyed Cheeseburgers, (most places have frozen meat patties) mine tasted like real Midwestern meat. My friend had the breaded mushrooms, and i had the jalapeno poppers, and the prices are fair.

My husband and I have driven by this place many times, but always a bit intimidated by the full parking lot. This past weekend, we noticed they were advertising for corn beef and cabbage dinners for St. Pats. We decided to give it a try and so glad we did. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere felt like a local hot spot but welcoming to newcomers. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this...
