UPDATE: I tried to eat some more pizza the next day so I reheated a few slices in the oven and LIKE I SAID, INITIALLY, the MEATBALL was NOT FRESH! I still ended up throwing over half of that pizza in the dumpster, including those partially eaten pieces! First thing I had eaten for the morning and it made my stomach upset!
I don't care where I eat, even at a burger or some other food joint. If my food isn't totally fresh, my body will reject it! I could have put that $30 something to better use elsewhere but NOOOO! I was so on my head to eat here of all places🤦🏽♀️. Then I get an effortless but edited, copied and pasted response from the owner that he/she replied to someone else🙄. However, I wasn't offered the same service. It's fine! No need bc I am just one less customer you'll have to act concerned about. Thanks but no thanks.
Previous review: This is just my experience and my opinions! The pics were taken HOURS after I received my food! I STILL HAVE THAT MUCH PIZZA LEFT and had to make room for it in my refrigerator. I don't know what I'm going to do with it after this point! I may throw it away or try to stomach eating some of it. I picked around some of the pizza crust and threw pieces away on each slice that I have eaten so far. The pizza crust is like the cardboard that it came in, texture-wise.
Tried to feed that to my son the cheese and the meat part. Had took a lot of that breading off of the boneless wings so he could eat the chicken. Heck, the guys who were painting my apt building didn't even want any of the pizza and I hadn't even touched the pizza, except for to bring it in my home. At least it was hot and the boneless wings were at least fresh! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I EVER ORDERED HERE FROM THIS LOCATION AND THE LAST!
I was going for one of the local competitors but I thought I would give this place a try. I regret spending money here. Definitely would have gotten more bang for my buck elsewhere. The only experience that was good about it was the driver who brought the food, soda pop, the boneless wings are okay. The 2 L of soda wasn't worth $3.29. My pizza is supposed to be meatball pizza but the meat doesn't taste fresh. It's similar to the ground beef topping itself.
I don't know if tomato paste was used on the crust or what. It didn't taste like marinara and I'm not a big fan of marinara, except for when it is on pizza. I should stick to what I know, which is pepperoni and Italian sausage or whatever other toppings.
The driver, well, I didn't even know that he was here already because I didn't recognize any number coming through until a text message was sent. So I told him that I had to gather my son and strap him in his harness to come downstairs to meet him. He was very empathetic and patient with me.
I guess I must have REALLY ANNOYED the person who originally was supposed to take the order. She kept putting me on hold and kept saying things were going on with her computer and whatever else she was using to place the order, all because I was asking questions about certain toppings to put on the pizza.
I never ordered here before and I DIDN'T HAVE A MENU EXACTLY IN FRONT OF ME so then from there she had already passed me through to someone else. I don't even know who the heck this other person was, if she was an employee or a manager who ended up finalizing the order. It seems like she was a little agitated with me too with her patience because of rushing me. She was eager to get the payment though.
I'm just saying. I wasted my money! And I regret it every time I make foolish decisions like this to order from a restaurant who has not only poor service but the food isn't up to par like I was really hoping it would be! My stomach is still settling from that meat on the pizza 🤢.
Any potential customers, please don't let me discourage you from patronizing this establishment! Just because my experience wasn't all of that doesn't mean yours will be the same way. I didn't expect to have it this bad the first time around though....
Read moreThis is our normal place for pizza. Had a great history with this location but my recent interaction was terrible. It began when a girl answered the phone to take my order. I am just outside of their delivery zone, but we order often from here so I'm aware of an extra trip charge. First, after I told her about this, she placed me on a hold for no reason, then came back to inform me they don't deliver to my address. Something I was already aware of but brought the surcharge to her attention. Then she put me on another hold. After 5 more minutes, she came back to tell me that they were too busy to deliver to me. I DONT KNOW ANY BUSINESS THAT ACTIVELY TELLS THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ARE TOO BUSY FOR THEM. Then after I tell her to please check my order history and they will see, she places me on another hold to call her manager. This was almost tens minutes of holding. She never came back, but instead a guy got on the line to tell me again they don't deliver to my address. I begin to tell him the same stuff I told the girl. He then responded in length about how his manager didn't answer, and how if he made the wrong call he'd get in trouble by his manager, then communicated that he didn't wanna get in trouble with his manager so they wouldn't deliver to me. He as well declined to look at my order history.
This was probably the single most unprofessional and child like interaction from a business I've ever had. Then, when we caved and called in for pick up, the same girl answered and took my order. When I asked about what time the manager was in, she commented that she was the manager. I then told her how I was the same guy from last time and then she was sporadic to tell me how her manager normally works 5pm-7pm and won't be in tonight. So she not only got caught in a complete lie, she then lied about the manager, because the last guy told me the manager would be in tonight at 5pm.
Really sounds like they're letting the kindergartners run the pizza place. Terrible service Went in for pick up and of course were missing a solid chunk of our order. As I was losing up my pizza into my car, the delivery drivers that were too busy to deliver to me, I watched one of them get told there was nothing else to be delivered so he walked a spot down and went into a bar. So that's always a great thing for a delivery driver to do...
Read moreOn May 1, 2020 I ordered a $35 pizza from this location. I called and let the manager know that my pizza was inedible. His response was that apologizes and that they were under staffed. He went on to say he was concerned about the integrity of the pizzas that were going out that day. He said that he would place a credit under my number for the next time I ordered.
Here we are May 23rd and I just tried to order another $35+ order and asked to use the $10 credit that he was supposed to give me. (I should have made them either give me back my money or replace the pizza that day, but my family was hungry and we fought through eating a burnt pizza) anyway, the lady the was taking my phone order said there was no credit. She placed me on hold to speak with the manager. She tells me there is no credit and that she does not see a order for me on May 1st. I tell her I have pictures of the pizza and a bank statement with a charge for that day. She then tells me that she does not have time to research the order and she will call me back. It’s 4:30pm when I’m trying to order dinner for my three year old that is asking for pizza. By the time we go through all this it almost 5pm. I tell the lady that my family is hungry now and I don’t have time to wait for her to research my order from May. I need to feed my children now. They are hungry. She tell me again she doesn’t have time and disconnects the call.
I have included pictures from the pizza that we ordered from May 1st. The crust had burnt cheese on it. My chicken and cheese was burnt and it was hard to bite through the crust and the cheese. I even tried putting hot sauce on my pizza to help...
