I am really bummed because this used to be my favorite bar. Tonight we were meeting a friend in Anoka for bday drinks & only planned on staying for a couple hours and to grab food after on the way home. I called several different places to find out the latest time their kitchen was open and the latest time you could call for a pick up order. We planned to leave by 11 & every place that I called, I was told their kitchen closes at 10. So I decided to call O's because it's on the way home & I know their food is top notch.

First call I asked what time the kitchen closes at and the woman on the phone said 11:45.

I was relieved and excited because their food is the bomb and I love this place. I decided I should double check before making this our solidified plan.. so I called back & said "Hey, I know you said the kitchen closes at 11:45.. if I were to call in a pick up order by 11:20, would that be ok?" & she said "Yeah, that should be fine!" OK cool. Plan set!

Called at 11:13 & was told by a different employee that they stop taking pickup orders at 11.

I explained my earlier conversations with the woman on the phone earlier and that she claimed orders placed by 11:20 would be fine.. but was retorted with "I just talked to everyone who worked tonight and nobody ever said that"

Excuse me???? Yes, somebody who works there did tell me that.. and I called TWICE to double check.

This was an order for 4 people and would have been easily over $125... before tip.

So I guess if they're fine losing that money then they don't need any of my business ever again... Which sucks because it's been my favorite dive bar/karaoke joint for many many years.

Don't ever give false information. Ask someone else to get confirmation if you need to before spouting off incorrect info to...

I met my girlfriend and her friend at this little spot for happy hour, and let me tell you, it was an unexpected gem! While it’s labeled as a dive bar, it carries a much more inviting atmosphere than you might anticipate. The decor gives off that classic divey vibe with vintage posters and quirky knick-knacks, but the real star here is the food. Though I didn't indulge this time, I couldn't help but notice the mouthwatering dishes coming out of the kitchen, each one more enticing than the last.

Now, let’s talk drinks! They had an amazing 2-for-1 deal on Stella, and we took full advantage of it. The beers were ice cold and perfectly refreshing, just what we needed to kick off the evening. Our server, whose name I regretfully didn’t catch, had striking black hair and light-colored eyes. She was simply fantastic! Not only did she keep the drinks flowing, but she also radiated warmth and attentiveness that made us feel right at home.

The vibe in the bar was absolutely electric. There were countless groups of people mingling, laughter filling the air, and live entertainment that only added to the lively atmosphere. It really felt like a community gathering, where strangers turned into friends over shared drinks and good music.

Now, a little tip if you plan to visit: parking can be a bit tricky. There are two lots where folks seem to park willy-nilly, and street parking is also available, so you might want to arrive a little early to snag a spot. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you're looking to unwind, enjoy great company, and soak in a fun, eclectic...

When a man steps in your face and starts acting like an animal (but wearing a steveos shirt as a patron) and gets away with calling you out of your name . That was enough for me . I will never be back. And the sad thing tonight was I never bothered anyone, known by staff, honest and trustworthy and literally demonstrated that to the security in the past , but treated like I was a nobody. I had my first shot there tonight and couldn't even finish before a man and his girlfriend getting in my face abput placing a chair in a general area. I did not feel safe or supported tonight. Shame on the man and woman, shame on security because he knows that guy was a ticking time bomb. I have never had one bad thing happen in all the times of being there. I am always nice and always respectful. Very sad. Will never step foot in that place again. Never. I was a woman by myself facing two crazy people. My initial passive response to the patron only invited more chaos to the point i went to get help and reported it . We both were supposedly kicked out after the man would not stop antagonizing me. Brought me to a level I really dont like to get to. It was a shock after leaving my family and randomly...

On a whim, my wife and I went for Wednesday evening food and drinks. The weekly special was pork chop dinner. The monthly specials were pulled pork smothered french fries and a brisket cheeseburger with your choice of side. It was all very good. The pork chops were tender and seasoned well. The garlic toast was perfect. The loaded fries were the best we've ever had, except the pulled pork itself could use some improvements, it was sort of bland. The brisket cheeseburger was fantastic. The atmosphere was fun, very well rounded and everyone seemed to be having fun. The staff was inclusive, friendly, and attentive. We'll be back! We have been here for breakfast and it's one of the best around. Update, came for breakfast again and it is absolutely one of the best breakfasts in the Twin Cities. So good!

This is a great neighborhood bar. I like going here mostly for the service and the atmosphere. Rachel is my favorite waitress because, for one excellent service and for two she has a hilarious personally. The bonus about this place this that the wings are the best in the New Hope/ Crystal/ Golden Valley area. Three of my friends and I completed what we call a "one wing challenge" buffalo wing tour of the area. We went to 12 non-franchise local bars and rated their buffalo wings. Steve-O's had the best wings hands down. I highly recommend this place if your down to earth and love chicken wings.
