I tried this place for the first time this evening with my 1 year old son. They told me to seat myself after a couple minutes of waiting by the door so I did. The server came and took my order she was mediocre not very welcoming or friendly just going through the motions I ordered the avocado roll and spicey tuna roll as appetizers and the chicken yakisoba. First came the salad about 5 minutes later the avocado roll and about 3 minutes after that the spicey tuna roll which was disgusting it had a gross sauce and was frozen like literally biting into ice chips. I didnt eat it and the server either didnt notice or didnt care.. i was sitting there with my son on my lap feeding him the avocado from the roll when the server brought out our yakisoba and sat the hot food right in front of my 1 year old. I then asked for a high chair Things went down hill from there.... the veggies in the yaki was soooo under cooked i picked most of them out the chicken was extremely fatty. And then the other server kept walking by saying how cute my son is which I said thank you and she kept touching his head. We are in the middle of a pandemic dont touch my child any other time but especially not now. I just akwardly laughed she then walked by two more times and touched his head saying hi. She then told me she's a mother to 3 boys which she should no better then! She was extremely nice and friendly and I shouldve just asked her please dont do that but I am way to polite.... and I understand my son is very cute and says "Hi" to everyone its his favorite word right now. Also and older man came out of the kitchen and said hello to my son and touched his arm. I know they were trying to be friendly but we have to be careful these days. All in all the food was either gross or mediocre and the atmosphere is either way too friendly or not at all. I paid tipped my server...

I eat a lot so maybe 10 to 20 dollars
Wonderful service and delicious food I wouldn't change a thing in my opinion those that are complaining have no idea what they are ordering in the first place. Now just my personal opinion here the chicken yakisoba and the spicy pork(when it's available been a few times I've stopped in and wasn't available) or the bulgogi beef bento are to die for. Also I'd give the saki a shot for the longest all they has was a house saki(hot/heated which was/is delicious) not going to lie unsure if the still do but they may have a chilled/cold saki personally it's not for me the taste is a bit harsh where as the heated is earthy and mellow but if you know your stuff I'd try it just because it's not for me doesn't mean it's bad just not my cup of tea(so to speak)........ oh let me add a correction to my previous statement I suggest getting there early, closer to close the avocados in the Cali rolls can get a little rough iykyk again just my opinion but I'd suggest the owners/chefs use a different storage method js regardless though still a 4.8 outta 5. Indeed a local hidden gem service has declined but pre-covid 4(idk kekw) years ago place was amazing and it still is just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't disparage the fresh food or clean facilities at Ginger's. I also can only speak highly of the work and dedication it takes to succeed at running a small local business.
However, the service is incredibly slow, so slow in fact, that you'll undoubtedly wait even longer as all the Karen's in the restaurant complain loudly and get served before you do, despite having ordered quite some time apart.
The entrees are definitely the way to go, as the bento box isn't enough food to satisfy the gnawing hunger pains that set in after an hour wait.
Finally, advertising various sushi rolls and sides, without being able to provide then upon order doesn't seem a solid business strategy.
The food is tasty, so I hope they satisfy many more customers to come. ......just have a snack...
