Just like the inn next door, this place has it figured out. What an adorable and unique concept tucked away in a quiet spot extremely close to the main drag in Custer, South Dakota. We ended up there by accident and the only thing we regret was that we didn’t find it sooner. The staff are genuinely some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet, and they go the extra steps to make your experience perfect. The design, decor, and overall concept is quaint and adorable, right down to the free “Apple a day” apples they set out for guests. Super clean, friendly staff, quick service, and yummy food. The cafe has several rooms with adorable seating areas with games (we enjoyed the chess game that reminded us of wizards chess from Harry Potter). We had several coffees and chai teas 10/10, the everything bagel sandwich with sausage 10/10, the blueberry crumble muffin 10/10, and the black hills burrito 8/10 but only because we like our had browns a little more cooked/crisp. Read moreLovely, spacious breakfast spot with large portions and great food, and a short walk away from where we are staying, at the Bavarian Inn.
Right away, we were welcomed by staff who let us know we could order from them at the counter or at the kiosk, which was how my family and I ordered. The kiosk made it a little easier to order since we were ordering the breakfast burritos, and it just made all the customizations a breeze to choose from.
When our food came, we were pleasantly surprised at how big the burritos were, and they were packed full of all the fixings. Everything tasted so good and fresh. I also got a piece of the cremeschnitte, which was heavenly.
Atmosphere was perfect; calm and relaxing for a casual breakfast. Everyone on staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were so helpful. Everything added together made this one of the best eateries I've had the privilege of patronizing while...

Tucked beneath the vibrant red umbrellas at the charming Feel Good Café, I found a slice of joy that felt like it was plucked from a travel magazine. The patio is absolutely picture-perfect — blooming flowers, cozy seating, and the kind of calm that makes you sigh audibly between sips.
We came in exhausted after a long day of work, and this place? Instant reset. The vibe is uplifting, artsy, and effortlessly cozy — like your favorite European aunt’s backyard café.
Service? Friendly and warm. Atmosphere? Pure serotonin. And the setting? Equal parts storybook and sanctuary.
