Huddle House — Restaurant in Cuthbert

Terrible experience. I got there at 8PM there were a few people there but it wasn't busy by any stretch of the imagination. 10 minutes passed before I was greeted. I ordered a water and the appetizer sampler. I promptly received my water and then placed my order. I ordered the ultimate bacon cheese burger with a side salad with blue cheese dressing. 30 minutes later I was brought a small plate with some chopped lettuce and tomato slices that were cut in half and a packet of ranch dressing. After about 5 minutes I was able to get my waitresses attention and told her I ordered blue cheese she informed me that they were out. I asked what my other options were because I didn't want ranch. She told me and brought me some thousand island. I ate my poor excuse of a salad and then my burger came. I asked what happened to my appetizer. My waitresses said its coming and walked away. I looked at my burger and it looked nothing like what I ordered. It was only meat and cheese on bread. Another employee, I don't know if she was the manager, must have seen the frustration/disappointment on my face. She asked me if everything was okay. I explained to her that I never received my appetizer and that the burger was not what I ordered. I opened it to show her it was missing everything and at that time I felt that it was cold!! I asked her if I could just pay for what I had, the salad, which I did and as I was turning to leave the waitress tried to bring me my appetizer!!!! 45 minutes to leave hungry! I went to Churches and got good hot food fast!! I'll never return to...

What a waste of time. While traveling home me and my wife were hungry and decided to try your huddle house location. This was a big mistake and waste of time. We were not greeted, we seated ourselves, and we went up to the counter to order and still no one had said a single word to us. Once I was in line a gentleman before me was picking up his order. The cook stood there just starring waiting on her next order (remind you her gloves were still on while she was touching her face). I was next in line but the lady sitting in the seat next to where I was standing had the next priority because the cashier told her a total and began the transaction. At this point I asked my wife could she wait another 45 minuets before we ate because the service was unacceptable. A simple, “hello ma’am I’ll be right with you” would have saved me from writing this...

Very noisy staff who were carrying on personal conversations. Visit was lunch on 3/23/24. They were not busy with customers but were busy talking to one another. I ordered Country fried steak which was very good with white gravy. The mashed potatoes tasted powdered - not good. Fresh fruit, apples. Mandarin orange slices and grapes were good. My order was served first and my husband's order was served 10 minutes later. He ordered eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The waitress stood waiting for his order from the cook while the cook talked to other staff. That was probably why his order was so slow. The waitress provided good service. She was polite and attentive but was not responsible for the delayed meal. Overall a very unsatisfactory meal and we won't eat at Huddle House again. Waffle House is far superior in service and...
