I was so excited bc they just opened up in waking distance. I spent $30 on 2 people. The onion rings were so HEAVILY coated in a Cajun seasoning that I spit them out instantly. It was horrific I didn’t eat them. As bad as I wanted them, you could visibly see the seasoning drenched on…I got the BLT also which wasn’t bad just the beef bacon was hard to eat, probably because it was beef bacon. My boyfriend loved his burger the egg and bacon one ! but overall the experience wasn’t worth the price. Might go back to try a salad some day but overall not for us.
EDITED ** we came back here after like 1.5 years at least. Just yesterday April 14. Even more disappointing than the first time and we really wanted it to be nice. $30 meal again they charged us $5 for the DoodCup but had no doodle chips… We tipped our server $10 then she left and we got horrible service. My boyfriend ordered a plain cheeseburger and got a hamburger. We sat with our lights on for at least 15 minutes , no one ever came so he ate it as is. Pretty annoying because we paid good money. My Caesar wrap was soaking wet and soggy which is my biggest pet peeve. I hate soggy bread like cmon now….. just overall this did it for us. We really will never try it again. Such a waste of time and money. We were unsatisfied entirely and still hungry and my boyfriend feels like he has food poisoning from the meat. Oh also a carhop NEVER came back to us ever after given our food. She kept looking over at us w our lights on parked in the second spot from the door. My boyfriend became a carhop and took everything back up so we could just leave …. also the milkshakes are water ….. which I also bet they won’t do anything to accommodate this . Couldn’t last night bc NO ONE EVER CAME BACK. We couldn’t even send our food back to...
Read moreFun idea, but problems with execution. We took our dogs there for one of their birthdays. We ordered the Hangover burger, beer and kraut dog, tater tots, chips, shake, lemon-lime drink, and then the Hangry Husky and the Chow Chow for the dogs. Total came to $39.00 without tip, and I tipped well. We only got part of our order at first with no explanation as to why we did not get the shake, the drink, and the chips. After waiting with our lights on for somebody to come tell us where the rest of our order was, my son gave up and went in. Turns out there was an issue with the shake, and they did not put in our order for the chips. No mention of the missing drink. They eventually brought out the shake and drink, but still no chips. When it was mentioned, he stated with annoyance "oh, you ordered chips?" which he explicitly repeated back to us when we placed our order. Finally got chips, but they appeared to be dog chips because they were bland and cardboardy. If not, I hope those are not their regular chips. When it comes to the food, burger was just ok. The tater tots were very good, but no ketchup or ranch (which we did request when we ordered). The beer and kraut dog: positive first - the hot dog/meat was very good. Negative second - the bun, was stale and the beer cheese sauce was cold. The dogs seemed the thoroughly enjoy their meals, and the chips (again, hoping they were dog chips). The shake was the bomb - highlight of the meal. Needless to say, despite the fact that our dogs enjoyed their meal (not a high bar), we will not be going back for food....maybe a shake. We will take our dogs to Swenson's instead. VERY...
Read moreWe had such high hopes and were so excited to try someplace new, however, the food was just awful. The onion rings were soaking in grease and had zero flavor. It tasted like we were drinking oil from the fryer. The chicken tenders are huge but unfortunately they cooked them so long that they were dried out and chewy/tough. The burger was just a typical frozen burger you could find at any chain restaurants and honestly, the Wahlburger brand you can buy at the grocery store has so much more flavor - the bun was sopping in grease. The fries were basic, frozen fries. The ranch dressing was literally the worst I have ever tasted - almost spoiled tasting, and I normally LOVE ranch anywhere we go! The mac n cheese was on the dry side and tasted like many of the crockpot style recipes you can find online. The hot dog we ordered was good and flavorful. Oh - and if you want a cup of water - even after order $55+ of food they will charge you 25 cents each which is off-putting especially when none of the other dining establishments we visit have ever done that. We had two vanilla milkshakes and those were delicious! As I mentioned - we had very high hopes but don't know that we will be back and risk spending another $55+ just to turn around and pick up fast food on the way home because we all left hungry. Would be nice if they offered a gluten free...
