We absolutely loved our lunch here. My grandson who has lived in Louisiana for six years said it was the best gumbo he’s ever had. My husband had the special which was pork medallions with peppers and gravy over grits and he said it was delicious. I figured I wouldn’t have a good meal as I am so picky but I got the cold roast beef sandwich plain and it was so good. The grilled bread absolutely made the sandwich. SO AWESOME!!! We charted a scenic daytrip around GA and AL recently and found this place along our route, decided to stop in due to the great reviews, AND IT WAS EXCELLENT!!! I ordered the BLT with fresh basil mayo--OMG! Freshest produce I've absolutely ever had on a sandwich. Also, the white chocolate pecan cookies are divine. I truly enjoyed my time at the Nolabama Snack Shack. The owners are sweet people and they have a tasty food selection. Their shrimp and grits are some of the best shrimp and grits that I have ever tasted in my life. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you are in New Orleans and I enjoyed listening to the jazz music they played. I recommend that everyone in the Dadeville area try Nolabama...
