Ooh Crabs Juicy Seafood Inc — Restaurant in Dadeville

I ordered from the restaurant on Friday March 25th 2022. There was some good but a lot of bad and here's a summary:

The good: the seasoning on the food was excellent the broth was very good. Now for the bad.

The bad: the price was extremely high for what was provided. I got the weekend special which included shrim, snow crabs and a lobster tail. This also included a half of a very small potato and a piece of frozen corn on the cob that was maybe an inch and a half long. All of it was extremely overcooked. There must have been at best a dozen shrimp. They were very tasty however very overcooked and very chewy almost like they were cooked three times as long as they should have been. The lobster tail was really small I've had crawfish that were actually bigger than that lobster tail was. The lobster was so overcooked I could barely get it out of the shell and left half of it in the show because it would not release. It included one and a half clusters of snow crab claws which were also very tasty very hard to get out of the shell cuz they were so overcooked. For $40 that's meal should not have cost any more than about 12 or 13 at best. I live in Florida full time and for that price I could have gone to Boston lobster feast in Orlando had all the real lobster I could eat. I also got a side of fried oysters which were very good however if I had not gotten those I would have had to go back to McDonald's because there was not enough in that meal to eat. All of the seafood had to have been frozen.

Staff seemed to be not very friendly, but they get the job done in a timely fashion. I do not like to assume when it comes to character, so maybe they were just having a rough day. Food was good, but each thing I got was considerably less than half a pound. Majority of the mussels I had were only the shell. The meat was not in the bottom of the bag either. Honestly was one of the most pleasant places I’ve ever ate at. The food was incredible and the service was so friendly and welcoming! They made my birthday so much more than amazing and I couldn’t have had a better time anywhere else. They’re the best seafood place I’ve ever been at and I will certainly be back!!
