Waffle House — Restaurant in Daleville

We use eat there.2 or 3 times a week. We would always look for the guys little black truck before we would stop, because the food was AWESOME when he was there. We went this morning for breakfast and little did we know it has now turn into a daycare. Waitress and other employees were over with her and the child. The one who waited on us was the cook. We waited about 15 minutes before we even got waited on. Which was by the cook Then he the cook.... had to be told 3 times our order, which is sad We ordered 2 Allstars, one with overeasy eggs, other scrambled, plain waffle when we got our meals hash brown's absolutely crunchy. No need to ask for correction it would have only gotten worse. He was to busy telling us about what happened to Chris( the guy in the little black truck). Which is a complete lie, that man would NEVER sexual harrass anyone. He would always thank us for coming in and hugged our necks ( my husband and I, and tell us see you again in a few days.)New cook response was" best thing that could have happened, because his food sucked." The cook you now have needs some serious training if you want to keep people coming. Sorry to say this was our last time coming. No place for babysitting and a very unprofessional cook (when discussing Chris's Situation) And for sure needs training in cooking. We've also enjoyed going to this Waffle house, but this was our last time we will Drive to Dothan or Enterprise or come at home.no need to apologize or offer a free meal because we ill not be back. After years of living in Daleville, I finally stopped into this Waffle House location and was genuinely impressed by the experience. It immediately stood out for its exceptional level of cleanliness – quite possibly the most well-maintained Waffle House I have ever stepped into. Complementing this was the staff; the team working here was remarkably welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The quality carried through to the food. My fiesta omelette was flavorful and cooked just right, and the peanut butter waffle was a true treat. My dining companion ordered a burger and made a point to mention how notably fresh the accompanying lettuce and tomato were. Waffle Houses in general a a great place to go and grab a fast bite. This one normally is too. The shift that night were young boys who cared more about socializing with friends than serving customers. When I got tired of waiting for the server to check on us, I walked to the cashier. He asked me for my ticket. I said he never brought it. When he asked the server to make it out, the server replied, Why? The time of his voice and the looks of his friends, other employees, gave me the impression that he would not. I gave the clown a .01 cent tip.
