Ferguson Donut Shop — Restaurant in Dallas

I’ve tried them before for my regular donut pick up, but recently had the chance to make a custom order with them for my sister’s baby gender reveal surprise. After attempting to contact MULTIPLE places to see if they could meet my sister’s needs of wanting 3 dozen filled donuts to reveal the color of the gender, Ferguson Donuts was kind and willing enough to give it a try despite never having done this before. They were professional, warm, and friendly for the entire process. I called within the week of the needed order and they were so kind about it. Upon pick-up, she let me know that it was sort of difficult to hide the color due to the holes in the donuts, but I can tell she tried her absolute best and I greatly appreciate this. Her efforts were not unnoticed and they were a successful hit at the party after I had to be very strategic in hiding those obvious areas. I docked a star because we had originally asked and planned for Bavarian custard filling, but receiving frosting/icing filled instead. I hope to definitely make a custom letter donut order eventually seeming as they specialize in that area more. I can’t recommend...

Great doughnuts! I'm one of those dad's that ask a lot of questions and the girl tending the counter was very kind & patient. She told me about the different flavors and the non-doughnut items (kolaches, etc...). Definitely awesome place for kid doughnuts. They are very colorful with sprinkles (of different shapes) and of course on the middle at the perfect kid height. It is obvious that kids love the place by all of the hand drawn pictures on the wall by the register. There are a lot of old tape marks like they change them out regularly.

Please understand that the following is constructive and not to be taken in a negative light. Due to my positive experience I'm very sceptical of the review by "Mary Mabel" and the three chances with a filled doughnut. I wish my first impression was different! I called 10 minutes before closing and asked if there were donuts left. I received an unpleasant response from the woman over the phone, who sounded careless saying they are “throwing everything away” and it is “time for them to go”. But 10 minutes before closing? She offered a box of donuts if we were at least 5 minutes away. Cool. We were less than that. I wished the customer service would have been better, but glad it worked out.

Donuts were okay, but not special; the glazed donuts were the best. Sausage rolls were slightly dry, able to endure.
