Good Luck Drive In — Restaurant in Dallas

Drove past this place on accident, immediately had to stop. Good Luck was a childhood memory of link and gizzard baskets. Yes.... at first I questioned getting out in the neighborhood. It's a little sketchy but haven't distanced that far from my roots. Told my husband let's do this. Glad we did. Owner was VERY nice. Food was delicious and fresh. The oil to fry tasted fresh- not like some hole in the wall places that don't change often. We did the burgers and they are obviously made and 100% cooked right there. Perfection! Will return to...

Would be 5 stars, because the burgers are off the chain. Made fresh & not cooked until you order it. But the down side is the bookies, homeless, & people just generally loitering & crowding the parking lot. I will still continue to go for the food, but definitely won't be staying for the ambience.
