Island Club Sports Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

It has been a while and they have remodeled. It's really nice. I've been going to this place for forty years. Always liked it and the other people that come in here. The same ownership the whole time. And he's a good guy. Always had professional attractive friendly bartenders. And the owner let's them set the pace I mean he doesn't meddle.I played a lot of pool tournaments there. Even won once. Have never seen fights inside never seen it out of control. They have foose ball tables, pool tables, and excellent shuffleboard tables. Shuffleboard is the favorite up there but his poll table are well kept and sticks are straight and maintained as well as any place I've been. It's j just a great place. I moved into the neighborhood in 82 that's how long I've been going up there. Always clean, plenty of parking great mixed drinks and cold beer. Come early on the weekends it fills up. Mike the owner is a good guy easy to talk to cats about his customers....

My wife and I recently moved back to the Dallas area after living in North Carolina. We found the Island Club on Ferguson and decided to stop by for drinks. The bar is conveniently located in a strip center and had a “dive bar” feel once we entered. Sarah and Penny were bartending, then later relieved by Heather. They were super beautiful and extremely friendly and made us feel like family! We liked it so much we returned on Sunday with a girlfriend and we all had a great time with Janet, the bartender. This will be our go to bar for the future. Also, the pizza is pretty good too. Prices are outstanding and the bathrooms are clean.

Trashiest bar in Dallas. Granted bars cannot and shouldn't be perfect but this place is sheer grime. The bikers there are all OCD tweeker stalkers and they stalk the entire surrounding neighborhood with a police stingray that's setup across the street at the tire shop and tmobile phone tower. No one respects the local community of human life over there. The place get busted by DPD on the reg and because of the biker trash there. Then the bikers turn around a do their thing and it's a full circle of endless ignorance---zero...
