Tacos Abuelos — Restaurant in Dallas

If waiting 60+ minutes for your food is your thing, then this is your place. The restaurant was empty, they had some to-go orders ahead of us but not that many to justify the long wait. It took the waitress 15 minutes to notice us. When I tried placing my order she said most of the menu items were unavailable. To avoid being rude, we stayed. I ordered the fajitas plate. When it finally arrived the plate looked greasy and the meat and burnt. This is a shame. This was a nice place a few years ago. I’m sure they lost a lot of customers over the years due to their lack of staff and interest in serving their customers. Their chips were also replaced by a cheap brand....

This place has to be the worse place ever! This is the second time I give them a try the first time they completely forgot my food they gave me what they wanted. Now I call in to make sure my shit is ready when I get to pick it up and I get there the manager I think is sitting down with the waitress looking at Avon then I ask for my order for them to tell me it’s not ready. I look over and they are just making my order . Bro it’s 3 gorditas how long can that take. Then I ask how much longer for her to tel me they just now put it in 29 min later. When they are all sitting on their ass. Mind you the restaurant is completely empty....

Our chips were the round yellow ones like you'd get at Sam's Club. The menu says my flautas come with guacamole, crema & Pico de Gallo...they did not. The enchiladas were spicy and good as were the refrieds & rice. Our gorditas were below average. Service was really slow to get your order & to pay out. There are so many taquerias in the area there is no reason to stop here. Los Abuelos needs to step up their game. I did not try...
