Ooh-wee!!! Man, was this food amazing! I had the figure watcher salad and the seafood potato with the Mardi Gras sauce. I drove about 30 min to get here from my home location and yes I would definetly travel that again if the food stays on point like this again. The environment was calm and friendly and you are greeted by a big smile and a "hi, welcome to Marys Kitchen!" Greeting that assures your at the right place that you have been searching for. Upon ordering my food I did wait a bit longer For the food to be cooked to order and it was definetly worth the wait. The food came out hot and delicious. In every single bite of food I took there was plenty of seafood and sauce to cover the potatoes and even after I was done there was leftover sauce and seafood. Definetly getting your money worth. The salad was just a bit intimidating because of it size. It was delicious tho, I had ham, turkey, croutons, egg, jalapeño, broccoli, carrots, seasoning,2 ranch dressings and I'm probably forgetting something but it was loaded! If I had to complain about the salad is that maybe it needed more lettuce which I don't think I'm even complaining there. Everything was great, even my time. I know I waited a bit longer for my food I believe we were waiting on shrimp and the inconvenience was taken care of by the staff who gave me a piece of German chocolate cake to take home and that cake was so good. Hit the spot at the end. Definetly will return...

On 8/26/23 me an my husband went to Mary's after seeing a food critics rave reviews on their food. It's a small space with no a/c in 110 degree heat in. We placed our orders at 4:20pm. We order the special of the day which were the smash boxes with chicken, shrimp, and sausage. We were given a buzzer and told that when it buzzes our order will be ready at the pick up window. We waited inside awhile. Then waited in the car. At 5:15pm our buzzer still hadn't buzzed. We gave it a little longer and still nothing. So at 5:25pm I went in and let them know I had been waiting an hour for and my buzzer hadn't gone off. The lady at the pick up window began to ask the people working in the kitchen for my order. She returned to me and said we have to find your order. I asked her what happened to it. She said well they will start working on it now. I asked how long will that take she told me about 5 minutes. There were a few door dash orders that the delivery drivers start asking about their orders. 2 of the orders had been given to people that were not the delivery person and 2 other's had not been made. So after another 15 minutes I was give my order and 2 complimentary cakes. We got home ready to finally eat only to open the boxes to see that it was NOT OUR ORDER. We ate some of it which was tasty. I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. But they don't have a system to handle a large amount of orders. Whether it's a walk-in ,call in,...

I found this place because it was close to Laureland Cemetery, and I find myself looking for comfort food to decompress after visits.

I saw the reviews here and was instantly surprised that they offered oxtails. I went into the building and saw that they had a black board that listed out the specials. I saw that the oxtails were there, but upon questioning, I found out it was a Saturday special (today is Tuesday). At this point, I needed to try to find something else that grabbed my attention, so it took me a while.

A few other patrons came in, and instead of me holding up the line, I told them to go ahead because I was still indecisive. The cashier made the comment, "You know what you want, huh?" to the patrons with a laugh. I felt bad for not knowing what I wanted ( keep in mind that I'm still in an emotional state from visiting my loved one). I don't think he meant it that way, or understood how it would be perceived when he said it and maybe he thought about it afterward because he offered me and my husband free Kool-Aid on the house, but I felt very disrespected being a newcomer.

I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta, and my husband got a philly cheesesteak. The food was ok, it was a nice and clean atmosphere, but I don't think I'll be coming back. Be sure to know what you want or call ahead to ask questions before you go.

I FINALLY made it since watching Mr. ChimeTime review on this spot about 7-8 months ago. I’m upset it took me this long because now I want to try more. I decided to check Ms.Mary out on my lunch break today. 3/19/24. I went with the seafood pasta, cookie pudding and koolaid. I called in and the lady who answered, who is also the same lady who greeted me and checked me out when I came in, has EXCELLENT customer service, she is very informative and helpful. I asked about the Marci Gras sauce and she suggested I try it and informed how it went well with the seafood, but when she mentioned the tomato based I was a bit reluctant but she said how the chef can make it spicy so I trusted what she advised since this is my first time. The entire way there I kept thinking I should’ve just gotten the Alfredo, cause I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes, BUT, I’m glad I took her advice. It’s not a heavy tomato sauce and the spice was so good and on point, portion size are huge, there is plenty of meat in every bite. The pudding is the right amount of sweetness and cookies are soft. The kool aid could’ve been a bit sweeter, I didn’t see the pineapples but still refreshing. I can’t WAIT to send my people here! I will have to come back soon. Highly recommend

We tried Mary’s Kitchen, which recently merged with House of Hibachi, over in Singing Hills today. I ordered the Smash Bowl to go ( half potato / half pasta with blackened salmon & shrimp, topped with my choice of Mardi Gras or Alfredo sauce). Let’s just say, I won’t be wasting anyone else’s money. I loved the concept, but so much went wrong with this order. The mashed potatoes were overcooked and watery more like soup. The shrimp looked great in size (jumbo), but they were either overcooked or undercooked, and the taste was just off. Now, the salmon… easily one of the worst I’ve had. It tasted low quality, possibly frozen before cooking, and completely lacked flavor. I couldn’t even finish half of it. Honestly, it didn’t even taste like salmon. To top it off, I couldn’t tell which sauce was used definitely didn’t taste like Alfredo, so I’m assuming it was Mardi Gras. On a positive note, the Twisted Sipper was a hit! They offer Hennessy or Casamigos options, and if you sip too much, you’re as good as stuck. It’s a little pricey, but that’s expected for to-go cocktails.
