Tacos Chilo estilo chilango#2 — Restaurant in Dallas

No mms! I paid $1.25 for chile toreado y las mms que me dieron. I always go to the Ferguson location and it’s a hit or miss when I ask for a chile toreado either they forget it or they give me an almost spoiled pepper. Today was the first time I went to the scyene location and it was disappointing. From my tacos de tripa and bistec being stale and cold to the tortilla still being cold. It took the cook less than 10 mins to give our order out but being the only customers there the food being cold was disappointing. On top of that my chile toreado was so hard to bite and small. Then I only got one when the menu says 2 for $1.25. I should have just got another taco since the pepper...

Though it was a Friday night, there were only 3 customers (same table) already eating their food inside. We went to the drive through and the "customer service" was nonexistant. We waited for almost 5-10 minutes with numerous employees inside and nobody ever even acknowledged us. When we finally were asked what we wanted the lady could not have been more rude. Very unpleasant look on her face and all around unpleasant to us. The food is very good but there are many amazing taco places in the metroplex and many others actually have employees that don't look like they hate their jobs and...

Ok, lets admit that if you don't live around this area, you might not ever stop in here for some tacos, but you would be missing out. The exterior is very unassuming, with the falling facade, and the old broken down sonic look. The exterior doesn't mean much when it comes to taste though, and I found that the tacos are very good. The portion sizes are slightly smaller than you might want to see overall, but they are not so out of proportion to most other taco joints, so I don't consider that as a big knock.
