Taqueria Taxco — Restaurant in Dallas

The trompo burrito was amazing, will definitely be ordering this again. The burrito is normally large but i was getting it for my kids so she instead made a bunch of small burritos, i tried it and then i was ready to steal them from the kids. There was only one lady running the whole restaurant so it takes some time but she did a great job, still she could probably use some help. Oh yea and she could not speak hardly any english but we figured it out since I know a little bit of spanish. I had a chilaquiles but it was too carby for me and only one egg for some reason, i should have gone with the red sauce it tasted better than the green...

It's attached to a gas station, the low rating for atmosphere.

I got meneudo to go, the large because the reviews were so good, I'll fix it and have tomorrow.

Wanted two chorizo gorditas, they only had one gordita shell so I got the one and a chimichanga chorizo.

Generous servings, excellent food. Wasn't clear if "beans and rice" was included so I skipped. Lost in translation.

Probably one gordita would have been enough but it was 3pm and I hadn't eaten all day.

The service is good, the woman behind the counter was nice enough. I ordered chiliquiles ( a favorite of mine) and the flavor was great! The one thing that bummed me out was that the chips were soggy as hell. I'm not sure what happened here , because I order this everytime I eat Mexican food for breakfast and it's available and the chips are always crunchy, but these were not great. The egg was cooked fine and the beans were seasoned very well. I know I will eat here again, I'll just avoid this...
