Pueblo Viejo Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Dalton

This restaurant needs to be shut down for serving RAW MEAT to a pregnant woman and doing NOTHING to fix it. And what makes it worse was their attitude! (See review images) I ordered the chicken Fajita burrito and side order of rice and beans. The food came out in literally 5mins…that was a red flag because what meal is done in that time??? I took a bite of my chicken and it was swishy/rubbery like, barely warm, and had a strange flavor. I was so hungry that I had chewed and swallowed that bite before I realized what was happening, so I looked at another piece, then another piece…then ANOTHER piece and they ALL appeared pink and almost bloody…I was disgusted! I showed everyone at the table and we all agreed the chicken was clearly RAW! The server (a man) asked if everything was okay and we all showed him the raw chicken and asked if he could take it back and take off our bill. He looks at us like we are ridiculous, says nothing, and walks off. I then see him with a knife cutting into my burrito to verify what we told him. I then see him go the manager and ask her to take it off the bill. The manager comes to the computer right behind us to do that, but never stops to say anything to us….I mean this not a hair in the food situation, this is RAW meat! The server comes back and never asks if we need anything else and dumps the check off. I found out that my tiny baby side of rice and beans was 6 dollars….Like what kind of place is this? The food was awful and the menu is inaccurate because the images and everything is a rip off of the old restaurant that use to be here. If you want GOOD Mexican food, go to Guadalajara in Dalton, GA! Also, one last thing to add, my husband ordered the Philly sandwich based off the beautiful photo on the menu…but it came out? It was so small, it was literally a hot dog bun stuffed with meat. This place is a joke! DO NOT EAT HERE! I am pregnant and left very sick! I had to go lay down in the car while everyone finished up! I probably have food poisoning, and this had better hurt my unborn baby or I will contact...

Was seated right next to the area next to register, where I didn't want to be, due to traffic but I guess that was my fault because I should have not assume I was to be able to pick where I'd like to be seated, after ordering, in the middle of the meal, not even 7 minutes I was given my check, I felt uncomfortable to stay and finish so I asked for a to-go box. Yes, I Was Checking out this place due to "new owners" or name change. I understand it is a family owned business, but do they not care about customers as they should? There may be new servers in training or whatever politic assuming to believe. Thanks for the review response. Please don't try to serve Coors as Michelob speaking in Spanish, you may think others don't understand. I will possibly consider a full star review soon. Look, I'm not here to bust anybody's balls, tell you how to run a business, I may recommend a system where customers don't have to wait for check or felt rushed by at least allowing them at least 20 minutes in than 7 minutes with the convenience and option to ask for the check where a server should be always at hand where they may feel comfortable to enjoy a meal away from the cashier area traffic or have the option to choose where they may like to possibly be seated, as an option. Some of us take time out from work and busy schedule or cooking at home due to a tough day and find this place appealing enough to partake of their great food and service it always had improving.. my advice is go to flacos... i went in and ordered take out. the oder taker said 15-20 min... it was 45, me just sitting at the door waiting. finally they brought 4 orders out together then 3 people came in after me and were all served while my order sat on the counter getting cold. several long minites later they said oh your food is ready... charged me $53 and sent me along. got home and the 2 of the meals were missing rice, the extra side of bean missing, and the enchiladas were supposed to have no red sauce and white cheese sauce on top in its place... that didnt happen either... the texas fajita was cold and the meat dry and cooked to death... i have eaten here a few times since ownership changed, but im sorry, these folks lost my business... Ruined my Fathers day meal with my family... all anyone could do was complain about bad food and crappy service... yeah the family were waiting in the truck while i ran in to order and get our food. im not rich, we work hard around here for our money... we spent $53 on a meal and nobody was...
