We're from out of town and decided to try Dandridge Brewing Company since we like to try local restaurants of where we're vacationing. The experience was awful, to say the very least. While ordering they were out of half the ingredients needed to make majority of the menu. After ordering we waited nearly two hours, got 0 refills on our drinks, and still all the tables before us hadn't even gotten food. Halfway through the wait I ordered a beer cheese and chips appetizer, because our children were starving at this point. The beer cheese and chips is $6 worth of ball park concession stand nachos and cheese. We left before even receiving any actual food. I offered to pay for our appetizer and drinks but the owner said not to worry about it, and said it was slow because he was missing a cook. They sell sandwiches. Literally just sandwiches and concession stand nachos. I can not fathom what would make any version of a sandwich take 2 hours, especially since the place only sat like 6 tables to begin with. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is actually hungry, and definitely steer clear if you have hungry children in tow. Perkins is a few miles down the street and they were wonderful and rushed out our children's meals because Dandridge Brewing Company couldn't get a single sandwich out of the kitchen.. Go to Perkins instead and enjoy good food and save yourself the headache that calls themselves Dandridge...
Read moreWhere do I even start….a Brewing Company that doesn’t brew beer? Hardly any beers to choose from for my Dad, no prices listed anywhere on the menu, severely understaffed (very common issue in the food service industry right now so I empathize) and absolutely no character. I’m glad I wasn’t looking for coffee because they had a bottle of Hershey’s syrup by a bunch of coffee equipment that looked like they hadn’t been run in a long time …..My Mom and I ordered a sandwich to split and didn’t get a second plate and we were the only ones this happened to. We didn’t even ask because the server had made it clear several times that she was the only one there and I was sure by the time we would have gotten it, our sandwiches would have been cold. We were told that we could get our own refills from the machine if the server got too busy….during Covid!! I can’t blame the server for a lot of these issues. She was a fun lady to talk to and I know she was really trying….This is not the fault of the server, this comes down to a food service establishment not having good policies on training for customer service, cleaning, providing “atmosphere” keeping inventory at their restaurant…basically running a decent restaurant. I’ve owned my owned coffeehouse for 5 years so I know it’s a lot of hard work! It seems like this place is run by someone who has no idea what...
Read moreThe atmosphere is weird and the food was subpar. We wanted something different tonight instead of going to a packed chain restaurant so we decided to give Dandridge Brewing Company a try. We left disappointed and wishing we would have went to Texas Roadhouse instead. Tonight’s offerings were the ribeye steak, chicken teriyaki, or pork chops. Both my husband and I got the 10 oz ribeye. It was paper thin and flavorless. It didn’t taste like it hand any seasoning on it or marinade and because it was so thin it was almost jerky like. 3 ounces of each of our steak was all fat at one end. A good ribeye has some fat but this was ALOT of fat. There aren’t any side options. You just get roasted potatoes and a small nub of corn on the cob. It was $21.99 a plate and so not worth it at all. With my husband’s coke, tax, and tip it was a $60 meal. I would have rather had A PB&J at home. There are dollar bills posted all over the walls that people wrote some really inappropriate stuff on. I would like to say I would give it a try again but I honestly don’t...
