Centre Street Pizza — Restaurant in Danvers

I got a small cheese pizza (no toppings) and an order of small Buffalo wings; the total was $20.32. Both were done in about ten minutes. The pizza was above average. The wings were salty. I mean REALLY salty, as through they roll them in a bowl of salt before add the sauce. I soaked them in a bowl of hot water for three minutes and rinsed them off. They were soggy and still extremely salty. My wife boiled them in water for three more minutes. That did the trick. Most of the salt was gone but they were even soggier now. My wife baked them in the oven T 425 degrees for twelve minutes. They were crispier now than when we got them. We added Frank's Red Hot, straight out of the bottle. They were great. Beware. We love the pizza here, especially with the sweet sauce. However, they ripped us off and that's when we say "bye bye." We ordered a pepper and onion pizza over the phone. They made us pepperoni instead. We pleaded them. We are vegetarians, we would NEVER have said "pepperoni." They insisted that we said pepperoni therefore calling us liars. They made us the pepper and onion pizza while we waited, but out of what must have been vengeance, they showered it with chunks of onion (not how it's normally prepared) making it disgusting, and they also charged us for the pepperoni pizza that we did not even order. So we were charged for 2 unappetising pizzas. After further pleading, they took half off the pepperoni. How generous of them....

I’ve had three meals from them so far and all three were excellent. The sweet sauce pizza is fantastic and comparable to any of the other north shore pizza joints. I also got a steak tip Caesar salad that was quite good, The only reason why I wouldn’t give it five stars is the pita was subpar. Hidden gem here though is the Mexican food. I had the fajitas and they were amazing, Probably comparable if not better than some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area.
