Uncle Al’s — Restaurant in Danville

We were passing through on a trip to Georgia and felt like having a burger. Al's was close to the exit, thought we'd try the local cuisine. We're we surprised. First the atmosphere with checkered table cloths were cool and the dining area was very clean, maybe ten tables. They serve hot dogs and burgers, all with cool names , we had Wonder Woman. The burger had a distinctive smokey char, the bacon was perfect along with fresh lettuce and tomato.The fries were good, my friend said the tots were excellent. Uncle Al’s hotdog diner was such an experience! I loved the decor and felt it was fitting to the brand. The 2 hotdogs I got were excellent— you must try the chili! It’s homemade and a secret recipe, sooooo good! Lots of options for toppings. The cashier was so sweet and nice, and the owner is so friendly to everyone! The location is so perfect and easy for a quick stop if you are hungry, it was extremely clean in there including the bathrooms! Uncle Al's is amazing! Very nice owner! Very nice welcoming restaurant! The hotdogs with Al's homemade chili is some of the best ever!!! You have your choice between (Jesse Jones)pork or all beef hotdogs! We love Jesse Jones hotdogs so that is a big plus!!! The tater tots are the absolute best, fresh and fried to perfection! We came to town for a concert and found this awesome place!!! We will drive 2 hours just so we can come back here for more great food! Thanks again! Hope we see...
