I was a regular here for lunch but the last three times I’ve been here in the evenings, the service has been poor, pathetic to say the rest and they always seem to be out of sweet tea. Maybe they don’t make enough or can make it at all on the night shift. Tonight, I stopped in around 8:25 thinking I could get some food before they closed at 9pm or so their Google advertisement states. Nope, they were closing at 8:45pm on a Friday night and still had the OPEN signs on. The little boy who I presumed was a server, softly told me that they were out of sweet tea and they were closing in ten minutes, now it’s 8:40 rather than 8:45pm to close. I got up and said turn off your OPEN signs, it’s misleading people to waste their time getting out of their vehicle and thinking that they might get to eat some food here. I’m done here. If I could give it less than zero stars I would. El Rodeo and Cozumel will get all my business from now on. Don’t waste your time at...

Update: Went on 3/3/24 and the food was awful. Did they change owners? I didn’t recognize anyone this time. The frozen margarita was mostly shaved ice with hardly any flavoring or alcohol. The meat in the taco salad and the quesadilla looked old. They had some murder reenactment show on the TVs which was great for kids… The service was still decent but no one spoke English. You have to go here! Roy is great, keep forgetting the name of the sauce guy, but he is fantastic too. He’s always putting out new creations! I was a cook in the Coast Guard for 10 years, it’s easy to follow a recipe, but trying new things and having a passion for the food cannot be taught.
