I've been here before, and it's always been the same experience walking in. It's like a time warp. Twirling bar seats are lined up with old men gossiping and drinking an endless supply of coffee. The place probably hasn't been renovated since the 80's if not earlier. And I'm okay with that.

Their donuts are absolutely delicious! I forgot dessert for my lunch guests and needed something quick, so I opted for a half dozen ($5.99) Boston cream, vanilla frosted and chocolate frosted. Yum! My guests raved over the donuts. Most tried to be good and only eat small pieces, but couldn't resist!

For a dozen donuts it's $9.99 great bargain!

They do accept credit cards and debit cards. Debit cards no extra fee, but if you run as credit they do charge an extra 50¢.

We've been several times, and I echo the "go early" sentiment. I took my 4yo at 10 a.m. once, and they were mostly sold out. My daughter was sad, but a man (I'm assuming the owner?) came out of the back and asked what kind she had wanted. She said, "pink frosting." He went into the back, and a couple minutes later brought her a freshly made and frosted pink twist donut.

My daughter is 6 now, but she mentions that pink donut every single time we drive by. Every time.

Today I took her to get a dozen donuts for the family, and she reminded me three times about the man who made a pink donut just for her, because he's "nice-to-infinity."

My favorite donut today was a toss-up between the apple crisp and the honey dip. All of them...

Best donuts in the area for 30 miles, hands down! The owner is a great guy, very kind & accommodating. The donuts themselves are perfect, light dough & hand crafted deliciousness, their “honey dip” donut is the regular glaze that will prove it’s superior. My favorites are the chocolate frosted with coconut or maple bacon. HIGHLY recommend the maple bacon, the frosting is always perfect, not too little & not too much, but the bacon is made fresh and perfectly paired with the maple.
