Casey's — Restaurant in Davenport

So I am just going to give this location a three. It is a smaller sized location and it can’t help that, however, it is nevertheless a smaller sized place, and as such, doesn’t have a large bathroom and you will likely need to wait to use it. Yes, it was clean, but still it was pretty small.

I also didn’t like how there were boxes and other trash all over the floor. Yes it was stocking time, but I have been to plenty of Casey’s that were being stocked, even small stores that were being stocked, and they still didn’t look quite this bad. It was nearly a fire hazard. Definitely could have been done differently.

On the plus side, the coffee machine worked and there was plenty of room at the fuel pumps. There was also a decent selection of food available. The staff weren’t terrible, although they weren’t especially helpful either.

Overall a solid three out of five...

I believed I was discriminated against yesterday. I have been coming into this location for over 5 years. It is around corner from my home. I get cups of ice daily and yes I sometimes bring my same cup back. They have never charged me for a cup of ice. The cashier took it upon herself to tell me I’m the reason the store isn’t gaining revenue from there cups or Ice I assumed she has such a strong accent I think I got the message but that isn’t all she made a mockery of it by approaching one of her coworkers and stating how she told me about getting ice. I felt so uncomfortable. I’m sure I’m not the only person who gets ice and isn’t charged. Now I’m uncomfortable going into this location it was a friendly place for me but now not so sure. I know one person not coming into the store doesn’t make or break you business, but what if I was a white woman would it have...

I gave this location 1 star cause that's the only way to get to the review. I stopped in today to grab a quick piece of pizza or a sandwich and while I was standing by the food warmers deciding what I wanted, the blond in the kitchen was telling her male co-worker "I'll spit in it, I ain't even joking I will spit in it". After hearing that I lost my appetite and grabbed a bag of gummies. I told the cashier I was going to buy food but the girl in the kitchen was announcing how she would spit in it. Her only reply was "I didn't hear her say that". I work 2 jobs and 1 is a bar that serves food and I know for a fact any employee that made that statement would no longer be an employee. That is disgusting and I will travel outside my neighborhood to avoid this Casey's. And I will tell everyone I know to avoid...
