Lost a customer today. Will not be back. Attitude of the girl that was behind the cash register was despicable. She was rude, Complacent completely irresponsible. We arrived a little after 4:00. We live 3 hours away so we had plenty of time to think about their delicious ribs. Upon arrival we noticed a sign indicating they were out of ribs. I asked the young lady if they had any ribs at all. She responded "no, sometimes they sell a lot. She then asked in an abrupt tone are you going to order anything. We were the only ones in line. The attitude and the kurtness was what angered me. We ordered and took our seats. I explained to my wife it was just our bad timing as the people next to us were eating ribs. Twenty minutes later after a delicious meal we asked for lids for our to go box and instantly helped by kitchen staff. This very kind and helpful lady then asked us if we wanted a bag and quickly summoned a different lady to help us. She instantly appeared with the bag. Meal was excellent, all three meats were luke warm, fries and okra hot. All servings were large and very tasty. I especially enjoyed the brisket. All prportions were generous making this meal an excellent value. Did I mention when we left that they were once again serving ribs. I would have gladly waited as I have thoroughly enjoyed them in the past. Hopefully the girl is a relative of the owner, as this is the only way she should be retained. Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch is no longer an establishment I will support. Not Jolly for me. (Look at...

Orderly chaos is my best description of the environment here. It's definitely not a restaurant I'd pick if left to my own devices, but I was on a group trip. I do have to give them credit though because our group was 20+ people. It started out just shy of utter chaos, but they quickly got it down to ordered chaos. I probably would've clocked out if I were one of the employees because they already had a full house. Service was pretty good considering the situation.

So why the 3 stars? What happened to the other 2? Well, I sent them out to buy seasoning for my meal. I ordered pulled chicken (I eat plant based but chicken is my go to when it's not a feasible option and it wasn't in this case). The chicken was on the salvageable side of kinda dry, but it had ZERO flavor. I need to know where the seasoning went. Not anything fancy mind you, just a little bit of salt and pepper. There was NO seasoning on that chicken, and I may have prayed for the chicken because it didn't give up it's life for me to have to drown it in BBQ sauce. I'm sorry to that bird.

The BBQ sauce wasn't bad, and they had great fries. The fries are pretty much why I tolerated the chaos. I will say this, they have baked potatoes, but it's not obvious at all. If you prefer that to fries, be sure to ask. Also those potatoes are huge so keep that in mind.

Would I go back? No, I wouldn't. Do I think it's worth a shot if you're an actual carnivore/omnivore? I do as other members of the group seemed happy with...

Really excited to find this place as it's a great half-way point between DFW and OKC for us to meet family friends. Decided to try it with my wife before we invited friends. Really glad I did. Got there at 5pm on a Thursday and they were out of ribs and sliced brisket which was, of course, what we intended to order. The wait in line was maybe 5 minutes which was honestly less than I expected. Then, right before I ordered, they ran out of pulled pork (our 3rd choice) and peach cobbler which we get at every BBQ place we visit. We had our dog with us so we took a table outside and took the only table open in shade. Apparently the bench had something on it because when I went to get up, I was stuck to the seat. I had something like sap all over the seat of my shorts. Fortunately I had something to change into because no way was I getting that stuff on my car seat. Turns out whatever it was ruined my shorts. We ended up having chopped brisket and pulled chicken. It was average. The potato salad was good and the pecan cobbler was not very good imo. It tasted like over-cooked caramel. Overall it was not a good experience. I doubt I'll ever go back. Aside from the ruined shorts, how can you run out of ribs at 5pm on a weekday? "Ribs" is part of your name! Over $60 for my wife and I to have an average meal and a pair of ruined shorts. The ONLY reason this place gets two stars is because of the cashier and the young man who brought our food. They were...

So after reading the reviews about Smoken Joe's Rib Ranch I just had to go see for myself what all the Hype is about. So we drove down to Davis Oklahoma and when we get there we found some very friendly staff working there so I order the 3 meat combo with Ribs, PulledPork, and Chopped Brisket, she ordered the 2 meat combo Ribs and Polish Sausage with 2 sweet teas and when the lady told me it would be $39.38 I had to make sure I heard that right I thought that was pretty cheap for barbecue. So we go and find a table and shortly after our food comes out I could not believe my eyes the amount of food it was. After sharing and trying ever thing OMG I soon realized that I was eating some of the best ribs I had ever had, I didn't even put a drop of sauce on them they were that great. I would put this ribs in the top 3 of all the different ribs I have eaten and I have had ribs from the Carolinas, Memphis, Kansas City, to Texas. So after eating all we could it was so hard to resist the BlackBerry and Pecan cobbler that we just had to order one each To go, when she brought it to the table we just had to try it and OMG those two cobblers were so good I would put them up against grandma's. So here are my parting word if you have never been there then go because you just don't understand what you are missing and if you have been there I don't have to tell you because you already know you well be back.

Great ribs for sure. Heard a lot about their brisket so I was excited to try it out. We both ordered the two meat dinners, he got sliced brisket and the pork tenderloin with beans and French fries. I ordered the sliced brisket and the ribs with double beans. Their sign said they were out of fried okra, hence why we ordered fries and beans. However several orders of fried okra was seen being served to patrons as we were eating. Possibly they just forgot to take down their sign once okra was obtained, it happens so no big deal. This review would’ve been a five star except the brisket was as my husband said were dry as the Mohave dessert!! Same for the pork tenderloin. We had to drown the pork and brisket in bar-b-que sauce in order to get it down. We both had the pecan cobbler with ice cream, now that was amazing, best part of the meal hands down!! Would I eat here again, definitely, maybe they were just having an off day, we all have those!
