Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Dawson Springs

Went in tonight with some guys and I was sending a video to my friend on snapchat, and I caught the manager indirectly screaming at the customers that were walking in saying “I don’t know why everyone’s coming in 45 minutes before closing this is ridiculous nobody should be here they need to leave… blah blah blah” and then the manager got mad and was slamming stuff, was yelling at customers over the phone, not to mention cursing at the people on the phone, and when we received our order, we got the wrong blizzards, and they gave me my triple chocolate brownie cold and it looked like it was rushed to be thrown together. I understand wanting to leave, but that behavior for a manager was extremely childish and unprofessional. Do not recommend if you want terrible service and to be verbally harassed by the manager and dealing with people who have bad bad attitudes. As a young adult myself, i was in shock by the behavior that was going on by the very young manager and the other employees. it was ridiculous and embarrassing for the restaurant. this place should be observed or somebody needs to teach their children/employees...

After trying to charge me 14.31 for a medium heath blizzard the young lady decided to give me a half vanilla blizzard, anyone that knows how you introduce the heath and the vanilla ice cream knows the process to completely mix the cup to have a quality product but of course she had her cell phone in her hand the whole time and I'm guessing the blizzard got in the way of her Instagram or Facebook time. It's a shame cause this young lady was going to let me pay the 14.31 for the blizzard up until I challenged her on it. This is yet another place to be marked off of my list. If the owner reads this you should audit your sales and compare receipts to cash daily because I don't know that this was not planned with the wrong price and being that it's the drive thru you are less likely to be challenged on price or quality so she could be pocketing the money. 3 stars on atmosphere because the environment appeared to be clean and the employee attitudes...

This little DQ was a trip game changer. Mainly due to the fact that we had been driving for close to 15 hrs and once we got to town NOTHING was open or kid friendly. Right as we were about to drive out of town this DQ sat right at the edge giving us the opportunity to stop and stretch as well as giving us all a well-deserved banana split. The staff was very laid back but unfortunately the dining room wasnt open so we spent our time hanging out in the parking lot. It was a shams we couldnt come in and relax under some ac after how long we had been on the road.
