The cook and his attention to food has been good BUT.... I AM PRETTY IRRITATED. As a former bartender and waitress, I know how it is to be on the other side and im an establishment much busier. I live in this town and have been to the DSB 4 times over the last 3 years because people have not had nice things to say about the bartenders and each time I wait around 6 months before returning. Almost all of the bartenders have been very lacking in good attitude and do not pay attention to you but maybe to the regulars. The time before this last time I went it was pretty good other than the one bartender. This last time - same bartender has made me not want to return until I know she is replaced. She is extremely rude and uninviting. She acts like she is miserable and it is an inconvenience to serve you and she added things to my order and I had no idea did not come with my food until my card was already run and they were seperately listed as sides - like an order of fries that I thought came with my meal that were seperated on 2 plates that she later told me did not come with the meal - I would not have eaten them and denied them if I had known. Really makes me mad that I probably paid for her snack or friends snack sides of fries. I realized my tab seemed a bit higher than what my food was priced on the menu as I signed reciept for an already ran card I said something to her and she did not care one bit and walked off. She should have refunded me when she knew damn well I did not order the crap I paid for. Also, the bartenders duty is to inform guests of what the specials are and when specials will end amd to not talk badly about the newly hired bar tenders in training (which did not show up until after the additional things were ordered to my tab). I really think this 5'8ish tall and hefty 140 - 150 lb-ish long haired brunette top with an ombre blonde colored hair is just a bad person and a hustling thief with a bad attitude and a lack of attention span unless your a regular will run business away - she definitely lost mine and others after that visit. Server 1 on December 18th. Not only was I never offered a reciept, I was never carded and had a 16 yr old with me, and she did not check to see the card I used was not even in my name - so ya will never know who I am Girl. This place or you owe me a meal on the house because of your additions to my tab that I didnt ask for. I expected $30 not $50....
Read moreBartender for Monday evening around 7-8 showed no type of customer service. The place was pretty empty once me and my friends arrived a party of six. We all sat at the bar. We are all servers so we definitely would’ve made her money. Instead, she made most of us feel uncomfortable, like there was an issue with us sitting at her bar. After everyone got one drink, and most of us tried to order food, I say tried because she took no type of initiative to take our orders. Once we told her we would like to order. She kept making her regular drinks because they were more important.. As most of us were trying to pay out, she asked us if we’re ready to pay I said yes, and she still continue to take an order from another man at the bar and make his drink before she could even Tell me my total… I am pretty sure it’s because I was black and that makes the situation even worse. I know Dayton is not Nice to Black people But this circumstance will allow me to...
Read moreI don’t live here but I was in the area and decided to step in the bartender on duty Isaac gave me great service and was very friendly best bartender and the fact thst hr handled it well is what would make me come back for him to serve me again, but what I didn’t like about the bar was that there was a woman in not sure if she’s an employee or not but was drinking since before I got here and she was on the games but was going in and out of the office and the bar and It made me uncomfortable that there was a drink lady handling business behind the bar and that’s not a way to run a business or bar at all not to mention the fact that you could tell and see her drinking on the job was not professional at...
