Dragon City — Restaurant in Dayton

This Dragon City is probably one of the best Chinese places around. (BTW, its commonly known that this is a carryout restuarant, not a dining one. Don't come here for the aesthetics).

The counter-lady is always cheery and offers us little extras just about everytime we order carry out. I.e. a free 2L, a free menu calandar, etc) The food is always great and well-proportioned. I love their hot wings too!

A couple of disclaimers: When ordering carryout, they will call you after 10 mins past the "ready" time, if you don't pick it up in a timely manner. While this is nice for food quality, they always call me when I am already on my way; I'm not going to forget my food... Another issue was that on a really really snowy evening, we decided not to go out, so we ordered delivery. They called us after the order to make us aware of the insane business they were getting and that it would take about an hour. (totally undertandable with the circumstances). However, when the driver arrived, I only had 2 20's for a $23 meal. I was going to give him a $10 tip for his trouble, but he claimed he didn't have change. I asked him if he had any in his car, all I wanted was $7 back, and he still insisted he couldn't make it work. He also told me that if I want change, he can get some and bring it by on the next series of deliveries, but he would take my food with him until I paid. Of course, after waiting already an hour and a half and starving, I forked over all of my money without receiving any change. I know this wasn't the direct fault of DC and I am certain they called this guy in after getting busy, but that really rubbed be wrong. I will not tip this...

Use to be a good place to eat but has gone downhill BAD. After 4 orders, all of which had something wrong, we decided to give them 1 last try. This time was my final straw. We ordered delivery and are very specific when ordering. 45 minutes later food arrived WRONG. Chicken was rubbery, extra sauce apparently meant no sauce to them, no veggies in fried rice meant throw in extra veggies, egg rolls had funny taste, rice had no taste at all and as usual forgot spicy mustard. For the 1st time I called to complain and asked for them to bring out the correct order. The owner qas in the background arguing that there were no veggies in my rice. I asked if he wanted a picture and was told they'd being out my correct order and pick up the gross stuff they sent out. 1 1/2 hours later, we called asking if the driver was on his way yet and were told yes. 45 minutes later, STILL NO DRIVER!!!!! Thanks to this awful place I got a whopping 2 hours of sleep waiting for a driver and order they had NO INTENTION of ever correcting!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will NEVER have these people cook anything for us anymore. I can't say it enough...BAD, TERRIBLE, BAD, TERRIBLE, BAD, TERRIBLE, BAD, TERRIBLE !!...

Order chicken and broccoli combination dinner they use some kind of barbecue sauce and so the traditional brown sauce had sent it back for a replacement, and they sent me back the same thing being completely unsatisfied. The food tasted disgusting. They refuse to make good on my order, they did not refund my money. They did not offer in return when I asked just to have the remaining difference of the combination dinner with crab Rangoon‘s, and they refused, they do not list on their menu as they say that they use a different kind of sauce for the chicken and broccoli so when you’re ordering it, you are under the substance that it’s under the brown sauce like everywhere else I will never order any food from ever again and I will continue to review them the rice it’s not even Chinese fried rice. It’s some kind of rice. It looks like it’s been sitting there for three days. It’s really dark. It doesn’t look. It looks dry. Their customer service is terrible.
