Even though the look of the place leaves much to be desired, the food itself is decent. I got the chicken stuffed w/ dressing and gravy. I have to say the yams and cornbread were delicious. The mac and cheese was okay, along w/ the cabbage/collard greens (even though I am not much on veggies). I was however disappointed w/ the dressing. I don't know if it was because there was a lot of gravy, but the dressing was reminiscent of Stove Top. I would come back and try some...

It was ok considering not many soul food places in the Dayton area. The dressing was a bit watery and the macaroni was just noodles and cheese sauce looked nothing like the picture so maybe different cook on different days the yams were good and the greens were ok not great, I always try a place twice because maybe just having an off day but everyone should try it for yourself because everyone's taste buds...
