A step above your typical greasy spoon type restaurant. Flippin Eggs offers a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options including vegetarian dishes if you so like. Something for every pallet.

The staff though busy were very kind and attentive with multiple wait staff asking what they could do for me, including who I believe was the owner or at least manager.

Food: The portions were very generous and matched the slightly higher than expected price point. Much more than I could eat. The combination omelette was good though far from the best omelette I ever had and cooked a little too hard "browned" obviously cooked with very high heat fast . Along with that a large mound of hasbrowns nothing special about them but once again cooked a little to fast for my liking bit still enjoyable. I also ordered a side of cheese grits which were perfect as far as standard grits go. Overall the speed at which my food arrived was astonishing for the crowd that was present.

Flippin eggs appears to be a staple in the area for good food fast, that caters to families and single...

The low rating is mostly because this place is FILTHY. like call the health department dirty. We sat at a booth on the side by the bar and bathroom. There were ants on the table, a fly buzzing on the window, grime and drips on the walls, the bathroom light switch had a thick layer of finger dirt, sink was filthy. This place has not had a cleaning in a very very long time. It's not like they hadn't done a deep clean yet that week, this was years of dirt build up. There was just grime everywhere floor to ceiling. We ordered pancakes, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy skillet. The food was OK. It literally came out of the kitchen in 3 minutes flat. I love fast service but that seemed odd making me think they don't cook to order. Biscuits and gravy were Luke warm. Yes even after noticing the filth we still ordered and ate Sometimes the best food comes from the biggest dumps but I left regretting not getting up and leaving before ordering and was concerned I may end of sick judging by the filth. We didn't get sick FYI. Won't...

First time trying this place and unfortunately it will be my last. We went on a Monday morning, first thing right away was how cold it was inside. We ate our entire meal with jackets on. Secondly our waitress wasn’t the friendliest, extremely quiet didn’t come by once for refills or anything else needed. And the main thing the food wasn’t good. Bland, basic and nothing special.

Thanks for the reply! I can see by your hostile reply to my comment that the service speaks for itself. Coming off so defensive is a great sign that you are correct! Lol. I love how you didn’t address how my entire family kept their coats on. And yes you actually can season eggs and has browns you might want to google recipes when you get the chance!m. Thank you. Will definitely remember that egg haven is closed on mondays and unfortunately wasted my money here instead. Have a...

This food was disgusting. I spent $32 on pecan toast, hash browns, and turkey links. All 3 looked scary when I opened the box. I ate 20% of the food and I feel sick to my stomach. The pecans were supposed to be cooked in the french toast, not laid on top??? Nasty. Hash browns? Pale and NO SEASONING. The turkey links looks like something I can’t even say. I didn’t even take a bite I was so scared. The driver was nice but will never be eating this again. I added seasoning to the hash browns too

Okay, so I gotta say I do like some things about this place. I like that you not only get your side of hashbrowns but an option of a daily soup, oatmeal, or grits which is nice. BUT, every single time I order a benedict from here (at least 4 times now) the poached eggs are cooked through. Like hard boiled texture. I know poached eggs can be tricky, but don't offer something you clearly don't know how to cook. Other food I've had here has been fine.

This is the real deal for diner fare. Flippin Eggs has a friendly staff that will encourage you to eat every last bite of your massive portion. Food ranges from more traditional (skillets, pancakes, French toast) to the more extreme (deep-fried omelette, red velvet cake French toast). An awesome option if you're passing through on I-88. Much better than the Dekalb Oasis
