I love this small chinese takeout restaurant. You technically can eat in the restaurant if you want im sure but its mostly set up for takeout as thats what most customers do.
Save yourself a headache and just order over the phone and pick up your order in person. Ive never had issues doing it this way ⭐️
The staff who always is working here is very friendly and patient despite always cooking. If you need larger orders they can make party trays for you.
The food is a little expensive for the quality but I love supporting this local business instead of paying similar money for even cheaper mass produced food from Panda Express.
They have a huge selection of dishes and plenty of good combos depending on if you want just the signature dish or also some fried rice and a soda or egg roll thrown in with the dish. I love the variety. They have some free sauce packets you can take if you need with the to-go orders. Its nice that they have these freely available.
I usually get the orange or sesame chicken here combo with the pork fried rice and an egg roll. Theres hardly any apparent pork or pork flavor in the pork fried rice but its much better than a combo with plain white rice 🤣
Their crab rangoons are a little bit disappointing quality for the price. I would like to see them change the crabrangoons in the future if possible.
If you havent gotten a new paper menu in a few months it might be worth picking up a new one as sometimes the prices or coupons will change over time. Check the back of the menu for the coupons you can get a free item added to your order if you ask them about it...
Read moreAfter my first time eating here, I thought this was the best Chinese place in town. Now, after multiple tries, I'm convinced this is one of the worst.
Consistency is the key. If I find something I like, I want it to taste the same the next time I order. However that isn't the case. Each time I order I get something that tastes different. I'm a big fan of Beef W/Brocolli and General Tso's Chicken, and when China One gets them right, their versions are delicious. However they only get them right about 30% of the time. Other times I get food with odd flavors and/or odd textures, or semi-frozen vegetables. Sometimes I'll get a nice hot crispy eggroll, other times I get one that is lukewarm and stale-tasting.
Another issue is the hidden delivery fee. It's not listed on their menu, but looking at my receipt there was an extra $1.50 charged before tax was calculated. C'mon, I have no problem with the delivery fee, but be upfront about it. Adding it without telling your customers is essentially...
Read moreWonderful place to grab Chinese takeout. We're rarely displeased with the food. Seems like it is run by just a husband and wife team. But, no matter how busy they are with cooking, Mrs. is very quick to acknowledge you and set your waiting expectations!
If I were to mention a detractor, it would be inside the restaurant. They do have seating to dine in. And it is clean. But, the general appearance is run down, dreary, and not completely welcoming. Get rid of the knarly looking pop machine and covering up the buffet, may help. Also, move the sauces from the customer table. Routinely, someone will be sitting there and a few times not the most healthy of individuals.
They are busy, but most food is ready within 20 to 25 minutes if ordering online. They do have a website you can order from if you are picking it up. The other commercial food delivery sites are much more expensive!
Help support this couple by ordering directly and giving them a tip. They work hard for...
