Walker's Speak Easy — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

We came on a Saturday for couples night. Staff was very nice, but the music is extremely dated and it's hard to find anything worth dancing to, we stayed from about 9-12:30 and not a single good dance song played, but they played down with the sickness!?

Crowd is older, we are in our thirties and by look would estimate that there were 2-3 other couples our age. The majority of the crowd looked to be 50+, including the bartenders.

The women's bathroom stalls don't lock, they are saloon doors that open out, but my husband said the men's room has locking stalls.

They have a room in the back where they allow smoking.

No local beer on tap or bottle which was super disappointing. How does a Michigan bar not have Bells? There is also a 3.5% surcharge on any card transactions, which seems dated.

Overall I could see this as a brief meeting spot, but not somewhere to spend your night. It was overall not worth the $20 cover charge we had to pay. The music is not good, they play grainy music videos from the 80s/90s most of the night and when they aren't playing this, they play what looks like softcorn porn from the 90s from a large screen on the small...

Let's start by saying we love this place. We have been coming here for at least 6 years. The atmosphere changes as it does everywhere. Just depends on the night and the theme along with a million other factors. The food has always been great. Fast hot and good. The service is usually good. Walkers has a lifestyle web site and it seemed great. However we have had to make several profiles and all have been deleted. I emailed asking why and was told "you have no content" . We had G- rated face and body pics. Ages, likes dislikes, and so on. Everything you would put on any lifestyle website. So not sure what more they are looking for. Anyway check out the theme before you come so it's something you're going to be comfortable with before hand. Say high to Jennifer she is awesome!! And order some mini tacos and stuffed mushrooms... you will...

I miss the old bartender 😔 she was a kind friendly face . I went home for a year n came bk to Mich stopped in walkers and the familiar faces I drove all the way from 94 n cadieux to party wirh on weekends were no longer there.

It's an LS friendly bar. So that's always a plus

The owner or manager almost always seems moody but quiet

Employees are kind and funny with cool spirits. There's a DJ as well

the drinks are ALWAYS WATERED DOWN . So pre-game ahead lol I take the drive for the crowd and cool atmosphere

It's definitely worth a try I do recommend

Been going almost three years and never had food til someone else said it recently so idk about the menu or prices I'd say try...
