Grub Inn Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Dearborn

PROOCED TO READ BEFORE ORDERING: This is my local pizza place that I’ve been ordering from since they opened. They had such a good start but after a couple years, they started neglecting the place and cared less for the food they’re putting out. The last couple times I’ve ordered, pizza hasn’t been good and there’s either too much sauce or food tastes sour or something is wrong. Until I went to a birthday party where they served pizza from here. I’m eating my pizza and look down to see a beetle poking out of the cheese. I thought it was my eyes fooling me at first so I took a fork to poke it out and i was not wrong, it was a BEETLE COOKED INSIDE UNDER THE CHEESE. I froze and just couldn’t believe what happened but thankfully I took photos because I didn’t want this to go unnoticed. I sent photos to the instagram and decided to call them. Once they picked up, I was speaking up about what just happened and they couldn’t even respond. They don’t even apologize until I said if they have anything to say and how a “sorry” should be said as a business response. They offered us 2 pizzas and came on foot to deliver it but we didn’t even bother with it because that response on the phone call gave me everything I needed to know on how unsanitary and unprofessional this business is being run....

I have a one star rating because a no star rating is not an option. Anyway, the most disgusting place on earth. Pizza dough was RAW all 3x we ordered. Only reason we ordered from there is to support our fellow Yemeni businesses and because it was close. We tried giving them a chance to see if they will up their game but still the quality of food was bad every time. Their hours are inconsistent and they have children running the place. It is very unfortunate to see a business go down because of laziness. The owner does not have a passion for this or else little kids will not be running it. Also, when you get countless negative feedback from the customers, you should be proactive in improving. We are done purchasing from them as we have already gave...

Food is great. The meats are of high quality. Only reason I didn’t give it a perfect rating is because of the “kids” working behind the counter. I hope the owner puts people that want to work in there because these kids are going to ruin this beautiful Buisness. Always getting orders wrong, time frame is way off and the attitude is something you wouldn’t wAnt to deal with, also when calling they’ll put you on hold to answer another call and you’ll remain on hold until they’ve completed another order. Apart from the employees the food is by far the best tasting food in all of Dearborn. I’ve been ordering from Grub inn at least 4 days out the week. Inshallah great and long success.
