There is nothing better than feeling the warm embrace of a new sunrise surrounding me on a brisk winter day. The absolute next best thing would be getting that morning cup of coffee from Myranda and Danielle at The Locals Coffee hut in Deary.
They do it all from running a full-service business to the espresso machine. The friendly greetings, the aroma, and the coffee are all soothing and deliciously refreshing.
The Locals Coffee is one of the few places to get Dillanos Roasters Coffee in the neighborhood. DCR coffee is rich, smooth, and flavorful. You can hardly tell it was espresso when compared to some of the chain stores that crank shots out like a slot machine (bitter, harsh, and often burnt tasting).

   Read moreI recently visited and I’m not typically a person that would leave a review BUT I feel like this needs to be addressed: first, there was NO menu, only a piece of paper taped to the window with random drinks with NO prices. Second, when I asked about the pricing and other drink options the girl at the window acted very snobby about telling me. Very cold interaction the entire time even when I tried to be friendly and make small talk. I guess “the locals” means unless you’re from there, you aren’t welcome. To top it off, I got the drink, left, and the lid wasn’t even on all the way 🙄 also this was THE OWNER (I asked) that served me, so clearly not interested in branching outside of their regulars with the lack of effort she put into making....
