This place is amazing!!! It is the perfect place to choose a gift and to experience local delicacies. My mother and her husband were in the area enjoying their anniversary, so we contacted The Pie Safe Bakery & Kitchen for gift ideas. WOW they were so helpful. I spoke with Anna who helped me select a local coffee, jam, and their fresh baked huckleberry danishes!!! We created a mini scavenger hunt with The Pie Safe Bakery & Kitchen providing the final clue....presenting their gift bag. It turned out so great, much better than we could have imagined!!! We also gave them a gift card to so that they could enjoy other items the Pie Safe Bakery sells, for example, cheeses, body butter, muscle rubs, etc. Thank you Anna and The Pie Safe Bakery & Kitchen for helping us make their anniversary an adventure!!!!

When visiting my sister, this place is always a must stop in! This was my first time eating here, usually we buy some cheese and browse the goods for sale. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and Tuscana soup, I believe. The sandwiches were very cheesy with perfectly toasted on the outside and melty on the inside. Every bite had a delicious taste of mild Mustard. It paired very well. The soup was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and dipping the sandwich created a new level of deliciousness! The staff are always very nice and helpful. We also bought brie, plain curds, Labneh, and marinated feta, all our personal favorites. I always look forward to stopping in at The Pie Safe Bakery & Kitchen. Next time, I will try the pizza, as they looked wonderful as they were being delivered to customers.

Who would have ever thought such an amazing place would exist in this tiny little hamlet of Deary?! It’s incredible! Brick oven sourdough pizza gets 8.5/10 on my pizza connoisseur scale. The cheese looks fantastic. Breakfast sandwiches look good but I did not get to try because they went into lunch time so I got the pizza instead. Staff is very friendly. Quilts all over, honey, preserves, ironworks, yarn, other small things. Decent coffee but it’s a barista machine so it’s not actually made barista style, it is good though. Great story behind the genesis of the cheese and the family business. Very clean and modern up to date renovation of the building. You’re a fool to pass up this place.

We drove from an hour away to come to the Pie Safe Bakery to try it out and it did not disappoint! To begin, the atmosphere is lovely and is a place I’d love to meet a friend for coffee. However, I wouldn’t come here for the coffee, but for the amazing pastries and danishes they have. If you’ve had a danish and didn’t like it, then I bet you haven’t had a fresh, homemade one. You have to try them here to see what a real danish should taste like! They have giant crème puffs, which my kids devoured, and even their bear claws, which I’ve always considered a little boring, were delicious. We also spilt a pizza here, which was baked in a brick pizza oven. It was super simple, but so yummy. Finally, we took home two pies to take home to have for a birthday dessert, cherry and apple. The apple wasn’t as sweet as I’d like it to be, but the cherry was perfect. We’ve been happily snacking on them all week! I look forward to the next special occasion where we get to make the drive to come up to the Pie Safe Bakery. I’d be a much more regular customer if it was...

Cute destination eatery. Food is okay. Plates are chipped most of the time , handle with care. Outdoor dining available. They have several sandwich choices and salad choices and of course pie. They also serve pizza cooked in a brick oven. There is a gift shop adjoining as well as a cheese factory where you can watch the process. The dining room is large and comfortable. Service is a walk up window to order and a server to deliver the meal. Pay attention, I have been shorted chips and croissant in the past and had to verify they did indeed come with the meal. An afternoon pie and coffee break here is fun. They have a piano in the rear room and I have had the pleasure of listening to some very talented customers avail themselves to it. 3 stars because I have had some food that was difficult to eat or just unappealing. However, I have had some really tasty offering at times. The menu changes. Hope this is helpful, overall I would recommend the Pie Safe and...

We have been here many times, as we camp near here often. This is a nice place, appears to be owned/operated by a local religious group. Prices are a bit high, but quality counts. That is the problem, we were there July 5th, got a Turkey sandwich. It was mediocre at best, with a big chunk of skin in the sandwich. No flavor except for the Mayo, which made it goopy, unlike previous ones which were great. But, that wasn't the worst part, my wife decided to get a pastry, was a tray in the display, showed $4.00 for one. When she tried to check out, they said $5.00. When she said the sign says $4.00 (verified by another server) they still insisted on charging her $5.00!! That is illegal in many states, and unethical anywhere, charge what you post! So, can no longer recommend this place, and that is sad. Hope the group that runs it has better business practices with the other...
