Two words: Hashbrown Supreme! Yes, please! This was so, so good…crispy potatoes, lots of sausage, onion, peppers and cheese with 2 eggs—so good! My significant other had the biscuits and gravy—no gravy mix here— you can tell it’s made from scratch. The portions were ample and I have a small bit of leftovers of both dishes that I will jealously hide so I can have them all to myself! Our food was prepared very well and in a timely manner for scratch cooking. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed talking with the owner, Jonas Yoder, who made a point to come and thank us for stopping by. I would highly recommend you stop for a satisfying meal if you are traveling I-35 or Hwy 2; it is well worth the stop. Can’t wait to come back and try the lunch menu and pies. Keep up the good work… hope to catch you on our return...

We stopped in about an hour before closing time on a weekday (closes at 8 p.m.). Our group had a chicken strip basket with corn nuts, grilled ham and cheese sandwich with corn nuts, and The Bull specialty burger and fries. The food w came in a timely manner and our entire group was pleased with their food. The burger was the best that I've had in quite some time. The bacon and the onion rings on the burger were prepared just right and it had just the perfect amount of BBQ sauce. Our waitress was friendly and checked on our group several times. The menu has plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was our first time stopping at The Barnyard, but won't...

I live in Colorado and my father lives at the Terrace Park assisted living facility in Leon. I called them to order a hamburger to be delivered to my father, and was going to make arrangements to find someone to deliver it to him. I spoke to a dear soul name Lola, and even though they couldn’t take my credit card over the phone, she offered to cover the cost of the burger and deliver it to my father. I’m really just at a loss for how gracious her offer has been. That’s above even amazing service for a restaurant. Hopefully I can find a way to use their services more frequently and with actual compensation for them! Lola is...

What a great find on a road trip. Breakfast til 10:30, sandwiches, burgers. I had a hamburger and fries. The burger was actually bigger than the bun and was cooked all the way through. French fries were delicious. My husband had the special, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, corn, and cake for dessert. He finished his entire plate which is a rarity for him. All the food was delicious. And only $30, including iced tea. We will definitely stop here again.
