You'd think that a local sub shop that looks like it's been a staple of the area for years (judging by the interior and having been to lots of places with the same feel) would be a great place to get a quality bite to eat off the grill or a pretty good sub with all the fixings. You'd think that, but you'd be insanely wrong. This place is a total ripoff. I went here to get something to split with my nephew; ended up going with a large turkey sub that cost around $8. Except there was basically no turkey at all! Take a good look at the attached picture and ask yourself whether that's at all acceptable for 8 dollars. Don't waste your money here, they deserve to go out of business ASAP.

Stopped in today - had the small steak and cheese with fries. Hubs had meatball and sausage with fries. Sandwiches were delish and bigger than expected. Bread was soft and fresh. Only wish he would have had limes as I wanted to try the lime Rickey. Excellent value for all that good - $25. Wow!

Awesome place! Good prices. I hope they will accept cards in future :)

This place is a classic. They don't make them like this anymore.

The food is always good and the prices are always absolutely reasonable. George the owner is a pleasant conversationalist and is fun to chat with, and his menu has a lot of variety, all of which he cooks up himself. I love the ambiance: the music isn't too loud, the walls have a bunch of old pictures of Boston on the wall. It's peaceful. No frills, just a great little hole...
