No Covid protocol, staff not wearing face coverings!! Coffee lovers beware and visitors from Spokane/other...be warned! This is a Covid spreading crisis in the making! I recently moved out to the 9 Mile area and was excited to check out Hot Toddyâs. As I got closer, I watched in shock as two young baristas without face coverings served customers. The person in front of me paid with cash and there was no extra sanitizing or cleanliness steps taken between that customer and me. I pulled forward and just kept driving without ordering. I took the time to call and speak to a manager about this. Get this - Management willfully allows this to go on. Management does not require the baristas to wear face coverings, even though the WA board of health requires all food service employees to wear face coverings. Take your business 1 block east to North Wild in front of Roseauers - their employees follow state health protocol (not to mention good old common sense) and they wear face coverings.
Before the pandemic, I do remember getting coffee here and I remember it being well-made, so they get 1 star instead of zero. However, I encourage everyone to boycott Hot Toddyâs until they start taking Covid seriously and take small steps to protect their customers. Your stupid opinions do NOT negate medical science and fact. If you are a dumb white trash hick who still believes that Covid, hospitals, and science in general are all hoaxes, this is the place for you. Just donât ask for any medical help or sympathy when you or a loved one is drowning in lungs full of blood clots. We can do better than this, Nine Mile, and our baristas who ask for our support and make our coffee should be wearing face coverings while serving and sanitizing between every customer. Take your business elsewhere. They have been reported to the WA health board and will hopefully be seeing some serious fines in the near future. Thanks, Hot Toddy's, for making the pandemic more dangerous than it needs to be...
Read moreI hate to have to write a bad review, but this is the third or fourth time iâve gone here and left feeling unwelcome & like an inconvenience. The girl who was working was clearly distracted by her boyfriend who was staging to be another customer at the other window⌠He was just sitting in the drive thru with his truck turned off & they were clearly socializing before i pulled up. She seemed kind of in a hurry when taking my order, mind you it was 5:30 they donât close until 7, & I was the only other car there besides her boyfriend at the other window who was clearly not there to get coffee. I asked for a pumpkin chai and burrito. The oven was quote on quote ânot workingâ & i had to reminder her more than once for the salsas i asked for⌠Im never given adequate service when I come here. đđť...
Read moreI love going to hot toddyâs, both Francis and suncrest location. But I have had the WORST experiences the last two trips to hot toddyâs at the suncrest location. On 6/11 two brunette baristas took my order and made my drinks , I ordered 4 24 oz drinks and there was something wrong with every single one of them, I got a 20 oz drink when I was charged for 24 oz, I ordered a drink with cantaloupe and got coconut instead the coconut flavor was so strong I couldnât even drink the Red Bull. Today 6/13 we ordered 2 drinks, the same baristas were working and making our drinks as 6/11 we told the girl 3 different times to use sauce and not powder and still ended up with the drink being wrong. These two did not have good customer service skills what so ever and definitely need a lot of...
