King's BBQ — Restaurant in Deer Park

No one come to Kings they over charge people I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, a sausage sandwich, and a large drink. I looked at the menu and that meal shouldn’t have costed what they charged me. They charged me almost $34 for the 2 sandwiches and a drink. They didn’t even give me a receipt so I can dispute it. The employees also just acted like they didn’t want to be there and practically kicked me out the door because I wanted to get sides too and onions and pickles and they didn’t give me the chance. Brisket was very dry and they unwrapped it from plastic wrap - yuck. Why would you use plastic on a hot piece of meat??? Wrap in foil or paper and add some fat juice or something please. Sausage was nowhere near impressive - blah. The ribs were subpar - I think they should have been cooked longer, not anywhere close to falling off the bone. Chicken might have been the best meat, but it was nothing to write home about. Got some veggies also and they were just okay. Overall, will never return. Maybe good enough for donation food but they would have to be starving. Overpriced cheap cafeteria quality - sorry, but...

The food was I guess ok. Wasn’t something to brag about. Got the plate with two sides and bread. My meal came out fine. My son was missing the bread. My wife ordered rice and beans for the two sides. They gave her one bowl with both and said it was two sides. So she ended up getting two half sides in one bowl. I may go again just to see if the service gets better. Maybe try something besides the brisket. Oh almost forgot, don’t get the potato’s. They tasted like they were over a day old. Some looked like bad potato’s. I tasted them and they were not that good.
