Bamboo Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Deerfield

As a rule, we do not generally go to ethnic restaurants outside of big cities. Especially places that are "pan Asian" rather than a specific culture. But this was so close to Magic Wings we gave it a chance. We turned up a few minutes before they opened, but they let us in anyway. The two people running it were very kind and gave us plenty of attention. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. It wasn't as good as, say, Chinatown, and could have been spicier, but to be fair, this is Deerfield. It exceeded our expectations enormously and we will certainly return the next time we go to Magic Wings. My husband and I came here on a whim with empty stomachs and hopeful hearts. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered crab rangoon with homemade duck sauce, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken with special sauce, and scallion pancakes. Miso soup came before each of our orders. The waitress was very pleasant and we had very quick service. The food was so delicious. The only reason I gave 4/5 rating is because the chicken was dry and seemed not so fresh. I have been to this restaurant several times, great atmosphere, service. My meals have been great I enjoy the teriyaki chicken. The crab Rangoon are mediocre, twice they had no filling.
