Casey's — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

Stepped out of the truck into piles of trash. Garbage cans upside down, no bags in them. Went inside to find nothing I needed. Empty shelves. The one thing I bought was pizza and it was pretty good. I had to wait for the guy to take a break from his phone and even then his call was more important than any customer. Trash on the floor inside the store five feet from guy on phone. He just didn't care. Employee bicycle locked halfway up the handicap parking sign. I realize this isn't the best area but, nothing is helping here. Dirty hole. Still no receipt paper. Hey Casey's your outside receipt dispensers have been useless for a year that I'm aware of. Profanity on the phones, trash and grime. Choose another place. Probably need different management as there never is any. What is with the dirty wash bucket and trash always by the forever condiment table. Worst customer service ever in a Casey’s store. The cashier behind the counter would not listen to me. I was having a problem with the order. ( they were over charging me for my items).There were 10 people standing behind me and three other employees just walking around the store not doing anything. The cashier would not help me with my order, was brushing me off. Then the person I believe to be the manager comes out of the office and starts yelling and swearing at the cashier about another issue with another employee. When I asked for a receipt after I payed she told me “I can’t give you receipt, I don’t know how to do that”. I couldn’t believe the service in this store. You can’t give me a receipt? Really? Love em or hate em, the people working here are the backbone of the community literally. Your kids would not be eating as much if this Casey's wasn't run like a US Navy Command post. To fight with another reviewer, you sure you're not the racist one? I don't care if they're happy, responsive or kind to be honest. These people stack bread rain and shine here, and provide what I consider an essential service. Every black woman in there would fight tigers and bears to keep their jobs and feed their kids.
